We couldn't resist the delicious smell wafting from the bakery, so we decided to try it out and let me tell you it was sooo worth it. We got 2 loaves and it was super moist and delicious fresh out of the oven. Enrique was beyond helpful and was nice enough to let us have an extra loaf for free. We got the banana chocolate chip, lemon (free), and the carrot. OMG all delicious!
Found this place's booth at the ventura farmers market a couple weeks ago and bought a loaf of cheddar sourdough bread. This is the best cheddar sourdough I've ever had and easily top 5 sourdough breads overall. Handily competes with any Bay area bread can't wait to get to the full bakery!

I was in Oxnard when I came across this bakery, and I'm pleased I did. The pastry items were excellent as well as visually pleasing. I bought some cookies to take home, and my friend enjoyed them. We preserved the leftovers for the next morning's breakfast, and they were still fresh and delicious. This reflects to the high quality and freshness of Yankee Doodle Bakery's ingredients.
