“Stopped by here before work to get some donuts. I got the Ube and red velvet peppermint pretzel donuts. They both were amazing. The peppermint donut has actual peppermint candy pieces crumbled on top which made them sticky. The peppermint was very subtle not overpowering.“

“We came across this incredible place about 4-5 months ago and have been hooked ever since. The owners Naomi and Dan are wonderful people and they create daily specials that they run out of almost every day because the food is that delicious!!! One of my favorites is Tuesday special: breaded pork chops with Mac& Cheese with gravy! My picky 4 years old LOVES their Mac & Cheese!!!! She asks for it every day LOL I love their fried Brussel sprouts !!!My husband loves their smoked andouille and chicken gumbo!! The soups are made from the scratch and are very yummy! Cream of cauliflower is our favorite and we also love others : mushroom spinachoke ( which is spinach and artichoke), southern chicken succotash. They have a lot of different soup which we haven’t event tried all yet. The soups change daily so check every day foe their soup special. Their po’ boy sandwiches are amazingly delicious as well! We love oyster po’ boy and sausage po’ boy and shrimp po’ boy all are delicious! Saturday 8-10:30 only they have yummy dessert beignets but you gotta call ahead coz they sell out of them fast!!! And the rice and beans special which they serve on Saturday is delicious! You can’t go wrong with ANY of their food but you CAN go wrong if you’ve driven and haven’t given them a chance! “We just had the most awesome breakfast at The Hangout in Martinez. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. It had just the right amount of crunchy spicy sweet goodness. Fast and friendly service.“

“What a great deli and store. I stopped in here randomly on a rainy day with a coworker. We each had a delicious bowl of soup and a piroshki and that was more than enough food for lunch. The borscht was very good. The people working at the store were very friendly and attentive. There are two small tables to sit and eat at. We didn't browse the market very much but I saw lots of interesting cookies, honey, meats, and other unique items. I'd highly recommend this place for lunch or some to go treats.“

“Went tonight for the first time with my family after the tree lighting and it was a great experience. Music was soft, place was busy but not overcrowded, all the people were nice patrons and staff, and the food was good. I personally enjoyed the beef stew noodle soup dish and will definitely be back for more of that for sure.

Kid-friendliness: My wife and my two young children and myself attended. There were other families with young children we got to meet and greet throughout our dining experience and the staff incredibly kind and nice to our family especially our babies.“

I’ve tried a few dishes, like the carnitas and eggs, but my favorite by far is the smoked brisket and hash, which has become my go-to order. The only area for improvement would be the coffee. Better quality coffee and fresh creamer would really elevate the breakfast experience. Overall, it’s a nice place to dine in for breakfast or brunch.“

“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. “Just had my 3rd dining experience this morning and all 3 breakfast meals have been fantastic! As a person on the carnivore diet, I find it refreshing I can order an all protein meal and be completely satiated without paying an arm and a leg. Eggs were scrambled perfectly and the bacon was delicious. And who could have thought a simple burger patty could taste so good. Must be a magic griddle! Highly recommend! Oh, and service is amazing. My Americano was tasty!“

“Always wanted to go to Lever. I work right near here, and I came here on New Year’s Eve.

It is a very cute coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be difficult as it is small and tight, but there is parking in the back.

The coffee was great here. Their lavender ice latte was amazing. I believe they are known for their syrups, and I also got to try their orange rosemary syrup. It was unique, but I think the safe bet is to go with the lavender syrup.

It can get very packed here, and they seem to have a smaller staff. Things could move slow, but be patient as it is worth the wait.

“I'll preface this by saying that I'm not even really a cupcake gal, but fox and fawn has truly converted me. I dream about these cupcakes. They're always perfectly moist, never too sweet, great crumble, so flavorful - the perfect, perfect treat!
I come here religiously at least once a week to enjoy one, along with an iced vanilla black tea. My husband and I also served fox and fawn cupcakes at our wedding and our guests could not stop raving about them! Ps the gals who work there are always so sweet.“

Our eyes have been opened to the world of wine in a simple and unassuming environment. Igor brings the intricacies of wine 'to (us), the people'!!

Note: It has been very interesting to meet the wine-maker Markus Niggli at two of the wine tastings in the store. Swiss born Markus produces wine in Lodi and gives occasional talks at wine tastings at Vinous Reverie. His own wines - sold under the name ‘Markus’, have been a revelation in themselves.“

Incredible friendly and knowledgeable bar staff that go out of their way on a consistent basis to keep your mugs filled and make you feel like a welcome guest. (Can’t say that for many places nowadays). So big Kudos to the staff! Excellent selection of indoor, outdoor and bar seating. They offer a nice variety of weekly events including trivia on Wednesdays which brings in a decent crowd. Kid and dog friendly, and there’s usually a food truck outside if you’re in need of a convenient bite to eat. (Food vendors have been subpar on the quality and value aspect from my experience, but there are also many other local food options within short walking distance). And to top it off, they have 3 – yes 3! — restrooms, so you will never have to do the PeePee dance for too long at this establishment. That alone will keep this very satisfied customer coming back on the regular.“
