9 Best Bakeries in Pacoima

“Talk about a whole in the wall. Bakery is kinda hidden, you'll miss it if you don't pay attention. They have a bolillo sandwich called guateque. Bolillo with beans, queso fresco, asada, jalapeños & salsa on the side. It is delicious anytime of day. Their pan dulce is also good. They have mini & regular size pan dulce & bolillo. I do have to mention that the place is really small, so is their parking. I suggest you call your order in for the guateques since they are always busy. I know you will love the guateque de asada! I haven't tried the guateque de huevo con chorizo yet. That'll be the next one I try. Enjoy!“

“Amazing food quality for the price.

You walk in and they greet you even though they are incredibly busy.

Even though they were busy, everything I ordered was exactly correct alinclusing the fresh juice.

They apparently make the Croissants and French Bread themselves which made the sanswhiches fantastic.

So instead of writing a review right away I decided to see if their delivery was as good

There was a hick-up on doordash not allowing orders of things without adding an option. I ordered anyways and let them know.

They actually called and expressed their deepest apologies that I had to deal with that... That is amazing.

I ordered the next day and the problems were fixed.

Each day the food came in as ordered and just as good as picking it up

The Donuts are fantastic, some of the best I have had in the valley.

I live a distance from them, but pay the extra 2.99 long distance fee just to get my morning breakfast from them at least 3 to 4 times a week as well as sanswhiches for later.

“Wow, it was like a kid in a candy shop when I walked into this Bakery. There's so many kinds of pan dulce it was like when my grandma used to take me to her favorite panderia. There was some of my old favorite cookies and some new ones that I have never seen before I was so mesmerized walking into this Bakery. “I been living here in Pacoima all my life and i never once seen or been here at this donut shop until last month. This place is amazing this place is hidden gem in Pacoima the people here are great the service is fast. The donuts here are so soft and fluffy to the bite and I have purchased donuts from here to take to work and my co workers loved them. Whoever makes the donuts here know what they are doing they make the donuts look yummy at first sight.“

“The lines are long in the morning + the hot chocolate is real hot chocolate. The prices are moderate and the staff does what they can to keep you from waiting too long. I've yet to try their ice cream but the croissant breakfast sandwiches keep me coming back for more. The donut selection is slim pickings by 11am but there's a 2nd round made just before the after school rush. The parking lot is shared w/ 6 other business so be prepared to park on the street if need be. It's worth it.“

“I went the other day to order some empandas to try (carne and pollo) but was really late....I decided to go back the next day to try them and boy am I addicted. I went again this morning on the way home from work and got fresh baked. Definitely recommend this place all the workers were helpful and very knowledgeable about what ingredients are in each selection. The green spicy sauce is what definitely makes this a must as well.“
