After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly. I certainly did not expect to see this a couple of hours later: a refund for the entire purchase...thank you Vons for going above and beyond with your customer service!“

“The owner is over there all the time treating and helping customers while working in the back too. Small place but surprisingly unique pastries. Each one tastes different and really good. Service is always incredible. I never tried anything other than pastries and sweets but I know they cater other food too. I should try that too.“

“There is this Persian bread called Barbari, which I've had since ever since I was a little boy and I'm glad every time I visit them they have it in stock freshly baked and delicious. I also love their Ponchik, which is an eclair filled donuts absolutely to die for! Their services impeccable, and the atmosphere is friendly they have all sorts of sweets from around the globe and I highly recommend them if you are in the area or driving past the area stop by you won't regret it.“

It looked like he was the shift lead, but everyone working there was doing an excellent job and getting through the customers quickly! “I come by here at least once a week, the bread and pastries are baked fresh daily and the workers always treat you like family. It doesn't look like much from outside but it's my go-to local bakery. I would highly recommend the jalapeno bread with creme cheese, but come early because they run out often by noon.“

“What an absolute gem of a find! I visited for the first time today—and to my absolute delight, just five minutes from my home, I found a real maritozzo con panna that transported me straight back to Rome! You have no idea how happy this made me.
If I could, I’d give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars! If I may humbly offer one tiny, respectful suggestion from a passionate Roman heart: try making the cream (la panna) completely unsweetened. In Rome, we keep the whipped cream unsweetened because the light dusting of powdered sugar on top and the soft, sweet brioche bun already provide the perfect amount of sweetness.
At first glance, unsweetened cream might feel like it's missing something, but I promise you, it creates such a delicious balance that people will end up ordering two! Back home, I can easily polish off two in one sitting, whereas here I was full after one just from the extra sugar rush. (And you will save money on the sugar saved !)

My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

“Talk about a whole in the wall. Bakery is kinda hidden, you'll miss it if you don't pay attention. They have a bolillo sandwich called guateque. Bolillo with beans, queso fresco, asada, jalapeños & salsa on the side. It is delicious anytime of day. Their pan dulce is also good. They have mini & regular size pan dulce & bolillo. I do have to mention that the place is really small, so is their parking. I suggest you call your order in for the guateques since they are always busy. I know you will love the guateque de asada! I haven't tried the guateque de huevo con chorizo yet. That'll be the next one I try. Enjoy!“

“This is your typical family owned bakery where you are treated as family, very good bread, fresh coffee is served in the early hours of the morning, prices are reasonable, parking space is not always a good thing since the bakery shares the shopping with other businesses. “We went for French chanson night. I would suggest moving those type of events to a bigger room with the bar so people can dance and enjoy the music. This time it was overcrowded in the room, people were trying to dance at their tables. The food was OK, wine per bottle starts from 70$ which is a little too much for a bottle that costs $10 at the store. I ordered aperol spritz which had 0 alcohol and 99%of ice. The service was good. Overall nice place, I might come back but not in a near future.“

I called the studio city location for a refund on those since I had no time to go back to the bakery before the party (please open a location in Santa Clarita @susiesarich 😂). Instead, they same day delivered my cupcakes PLUS sent additional cookies and Mother’s Day treats for no additional cost to me😭❤️ I was SO amazed by the gracious customer service.
