“I had tried Dave’s Hot Chicken over a year ago at a different location and, to be honest, I wasn’t impressed. The food then felt rushed, and the experience didn’t live up to the hype. Because of that, I hadn’t been back since—until today. And I’m glad I gave it another shot, because this visit completely changed my mind.

From the moment I walked in, the difference was clear. Even though it looked like only two employees were running the entire operation, the service didn’t skip a beat. They were both friendly, efficient, and focused, handling the front counter, food prep, and even cleaning with a great attitude. You could tell they cared about doing it right.

The food this time was on point. I got the hot chicken slider and fries, and everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy inside with that crispy, flavorful crust Dave’s is known for when done right. The spice level was just right—not just heat for the sake of it, but actual flavor. The fries were fresh, not greasy or soggy, and the portions were generous.

Today’s experience made me a believer in Dave’s Hot Chicken. Great food, great staff, and a totally different feel from my last visit. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Came here EARLY to secure my son’s favourite take-out meal for his schools ‘lunch on the lawn’. Even though it wasn’t lunchtime, they had my meal ready immediately so I could get back on the road. Leilani was supremely kind and packaged my son’s takeout bag extra special. 🙏🏼 It’s experiences such as these that often go unnoticed, and that society needs more of. (While I am sad that they are no longer located walking distance from where my car gets serviced, this new location is really very nice.)“

“Great place for a fast/fresh teriyaki bowl. Small place, not so much a dine-in atmosphere place, but totally fine for grabbing a quick bite or taking to go. The chicken bowl portion was generous. Flavors were good and ingredients fresh. Might just pop back for lunch again today. 😊“
