Nina’s Traditional Greek Cuisine & Pizzeria

Food is traditional, delicious and made with love, you can taste that everything is fresh, made to order, sauces and dressings are homemade and fresh. I've visited a few times, and tried Pizza, salads and tzatziki with the freshly made pita bread, everything was consistently fresh and outstanding

Wow! If you get the chance to eat here, do it! We arrived at 4 PM on a Saturday and they initially turned us away due to their Take Out orders piling up. Which told us…this place has to be good! Thank goodness we were in no rush so we just explored for an hour and came back. They sat us immediately the second time. The 4 of us ordered 5 items and LOVED everything! Holy crap! Everything was so flavorful and delicious. We ate until our stomachs hurt and saved all of the leftovers. We even purchased a pint of taziki (sp? Sorry!)sauce to take home.

Things to note:
-This place has 4-5 tables.
-They are a small family business and take pride in their product. Be prepared to wait or possibly be turned away if they are overwhelmed with orders. We watched this happen to a couple as we were leaving.
-they were running out of ingredients towards the end of the day.
-they are polite and kind but also direct and no nonsense.

Saying that…I would move to Palm Springs just so I could keep eating their food!!

We have been going to Nina’s for a while now and it is delicious! The Greek plates and proteins are flavorful and moist. This is a family joint that never disappoints. If you are looking for Greek home cooking that is delicious, fairly priced, and will keep you coming back for more, this is for you!

I walked into the restaurant at about 5:40pm. I wanted to order a chicken falafel. The old woman came to the counter. I told her my order. She said there was no take out orders until 7:30pm. The menu online says nothing about that. I won't go back. AND there were very few customers in the restaurant.

I got a chicken gyro, with their house made sauce, (12 ingredient), and it was absolutely the best I've ever eaten. I highly recommend!! A smaller restaurant, cozy, with an exceptionally friendly staff. Only real downside would be the bathroom is out the door, down the sidewalk, and up the stairs.

I went for a date and I loved the way the owner was acting towards every costumer she remembers everyone name even if you’ve only gone just once. The atmosphere is so cozy and the chef I believe was extremely sweet as well. It’s an absolute pleasure to be able to have tried this delicacy of food i enjoyed every single bite. Plus great spot for an intimate dinner for couples for sure…

It's a tiny place mostly for take-out but I was able to sit outside with my dog. Perfect. If you've never had terramousalate, here's your chance. They were the only Greek restaurant in town I found that has it on the menu. Delicious.

Parking: I wish I had known about the world-famous rice pudding.

I moved to Palm Springs from NYC after 40 YEARS. Uhm. Her food (especially the Gyro pizza) is soooo GEWD!! Best I've had in the Coachella Valley so far. I eat here at least twice a week! The Philly chesesteak and Gyro is superb as well! Family owned little slice of Heaven in the valley. Thanks so much Nina. She's always working hard. Homemade, not like others in the valley 5 stars 4 sure! Delicious!

I have eaten at Nina's many times. I never like the food except I love the Tzaviki. I had pasta Primavera about 6 months ago, expecting lots of fresh veggies. There was corn, frozen peas and brocoli (over cooked). My memory could be wrong about the 3rd vegie, but I remember that it was all like a cafeteria, overcook

From the first I've always had a loving experience. Great food comes from great people. I found this location when I first moved to Palm springs ten years ago. It is still held up by family. Nina is a caring and wonderful woman. I apologize for not knowing the husband's name, but he was my first interaction there. It is and I believe will always be my favorite fresh Greek experience. They both are amazing people. Thank you for having me as a customer. This review was long overdue.

I’ve seen this place for years and have never tried it. I’m so sad that I hadn’t tried this sooner. I LOVE this little restaurant. Nina (I think she’s the owner and works there) is so lovely. She is so super sweet and nice! I’d go there to just visit with her!Her food has been amazing. I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten, from the salad’s to the meat dishes. We ordered Pizza yesterday and would definitely eat that again. I’ll be coming back here again and again!
