Palo Alto VA has taken exceptional care of my son. He’s only been out for a few months and has needed extensive treatment from the VA unfortunately. All the his care teams have been top-notch there. Very happy with his care.
Actually the food was amazing. The art and classes. The finance classes and the what else. Thought I wouldnt remember. I remember. There would always be extra food. and they would ask us, anyone want this, they had coffee if I remember. We had to line up at the right by the windows on my floor and then door would be unlocked we'd go in and who was the old guy the wheelchair. He was awrsome. Was it Dave ? I had open heart surgery. The people were great, and they cared for me. Basically, they saved my life.

Patients appreciate the care and patience of the staff, even when understaffed. Although there are some critiques, such as occasional shortages of simple items like crutches, the overall office experience is typically pleasant. The VA ER in Palo Alto is recommended over local urgent care facilities due to billing ease. Many veterans have traveled from all over the state and beyond to have procedures here, often reporting positive health outcomes.
