Son & Garden offers a pretty atmosphere, with excellent service from the server and a lavender spritzer that is delicate and refreshing. The ricotta pancakes were good, but not as fluffy as advertised, while the bacon was very tasty. The chef's specials were well-received, with tasty and pretty presented food. However, there were issues with the hostess rushing some customers and a separate incident of poor service where customers were not attended to promptly and were given a time limit. The mermaid themed high tea was a success, with delicious food, tea, and a great experience that lived up to the hype and price. Customers were pleased with the leftovers and would consider returning for future themed high teas.
