“I've lived near Mr. Taco for about 10 years and didn't try until recently. I have noticed their amazing support and kindness to our local community through the years and honestly had been meaning to stop by, but just never have. So, fast forward to this week-- my hubby was going to grab dinner on the way home and I asked him to stop by and grab me something. I pulled up their Facebook and saw a pic of their San Diego fries. They looked good and so I gave them a try. Well....they were goddam addictive. I had him stop by 2 days in a row. I will be definitely be returning because not only are they a great member of our community, their food is fire. Great prices, too! Now, I have one suggestion and a huge part of the reason that I hadn't stopped before is that they don't have an online ordering option. I have weird dietary restrictions and allergies and like to take my time looking through a menu and get anxious if someone has to wait for me, so I prefer to order online and go and pick up instead of ordering in person. Ordering by looking at a picture was highly unusual for me on that first day but since the ingredients were relatively basic I decided to take a risk. I am SO glad that I did. If you haven't tried them, please do. They are well worth the stop.“

“Went on a Thursday afternoon. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. I'll have to go back and get her name, she deserves recognition. I ordered a Wrap with fries. It came out quickly and i had a whole half of the wrap left by the time I was full. Reasonable prices. Clean restaraunt. Kind of has a quaint feeling. Maybe the fact that it is nestled in a small town has something to do with that. Will be back.“

“Been going to this restaurant for special occasions since I was a kid! The food is the best in town, service is amazing, and it's such a peaceful atmosphere. I've always loved their egg drop soup, sweet and sour pork, wontons and grilled beef skewers the best.

This place is a best kept secret, for the price and the chicken and vegetables.Also, they do steam rice correctly. Most places don't. Good texture, not too soft, not falling apart. “Jamie, our server, was a sight for sore eyes. Food was plentiful and fairly priced. As to the gourmet aspect in regard to their omelette preparations, let’s just say a little above average. Coffee Mugs cool looking, coffee quality slightly above average to be nice.
They have their own personable place, and apparently many glowing reviews. Does it beat Denny’s? No doubt. Black Bear yes.
Will I stop by again, doubtful. Service right on the money. 4 Stars.“

“Don't let the outside detour you. The inside is immaculate. It's spotless clean. The service is fast. The food is fresh. The plates are large. The food is amazing and the prices are even better!!! $9.00 for a lunch plate!!!! They offer take out too.

“I’ve had 2 kids birthdays her the last couple months. Both experiences were wonderful. I love their pizza, it has a nice, chewy, crispy crust and the sauce has good flavor. The pepperoni gets a little crispy on the edges too which I love. Salad bar is a lot better than I remember, everything was fresh and clean and a small but decent selection of toppings. They are very kid friendly although the selections of games is kinda small. We will probably continue to have parties here, the quality and pricing was hard to beat. It’s one of the best pizza places around, if you like good times you will like this place!“

“My boyfriend and I had breakfast together. I had the pancake sandwich with bacon and a side of the country potatoes. My egg was over medium. He had two eggs with sausage links, country potatoes and an English muffin.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the food was! My egg was cooked perfectly. The bacon was not under or overcooked. The country potatoes were absolutely delicious. Get the onions and bell peppers added. They rocked. My pancakes were fluffy and light. The warm syrup reminded me of how my dad did breakfast when I was a kid.

Oh, and the coffee, I almost forgot about the coffee. It was so tasty. Like how can regular coffee be so good?

The waitress was on the ball. Warming the coffee, checking as needed but not hovering. Super lady and great at her job.

This is our new, favorite place. ❤️

“I love myself a good taco and a good torta, unfortunately Redding /Anderson falls way short of good tortas, but this place kills it. My bread is never soggy the right crisp on my carnitas, fresh ingredients and a good selection of beers to have with dinner (not like 30 it's a restaurant not a brewery the 5 or 6 bottles too choose from of will get you there) it's become my favorite stop for in house Mexican food. I recommend it for anyone out for a bite.“
