“SUPERB PIZZA FROM THE RED TENT
Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had in all of Los Angeles. You'll find it on a side street off of Laurel canyon across from the bank of America parking lot.
Everything is fresh and house made, from the natural sourdough crust with no commercial yeast, to the simple and superb sauce. The cheese was especially delicious and the whole pizza comes together so deliciously that it could come from a high end restaurant.
That's because the chef/owner previously worked in high end fine dining and is obsessed with making the best -- and he does! He's justifiably proud of his work and will happily explain his process and let you watch your pizza cook in his portable wood-fired oven.
The menu includes specials or a choose-your-own topping choice starting at $11.
Each pizza is generously sized and enough for two unless you want leftovers, which you do!
There's an outdoor table and stools so you can enjoy it hot out of the wood fired oven.
all together a delightful experience and pizza you will want to return for!
TIP: Call before you go to make sure he's there. Sometimes, such as on especially hot days, he chooses not to set up. But he always answers his phone, so you can also order in advance (though the pizza takes only about three minutes to cook in his 700 degree oven.
Parking: At night you can park in the Bank of America parking lot“

“Great place to stop by and shop for groceries. I would normally give it 5 stars because their produce is usually amazing in comparison to other local grocers. But last time I went, they had a horrible selection of strawberries (almost every box was about to be rotten).
If you are a fan of cheap styrofoam plates, this is one of the only places that sells them. Yeah, I know... not environmentally friendly, but they are affordable for large parties. Lol
They also have a really cool selection of specialty imported sweet drinks. If you are into that type of thing, this is your spot!“

“Way better tacos than Leo's tacos. Their chicken tacos were so well marinated and juicy. Their salsas were so flavorful and they were very kind. Please take care of my people here and tip them extra so they stick around for a long time. Oh, and the pastor was dangerously delicious as well. Highly recommend ??“

“I already love oysters but when you have them freshly shucked at the farmers market I become an excited little kid. I saw them at the Hollywood farmers market and I couldn't stop myself from having some fresh oysters for lunch.Food: At $2 an oyster, I had five different types: kumamoto, kusshi, shigoku, blonde, and minter sweet. They had more variety but I only wanted five at that time. To be honest I didn't even know there were so many different kinds of oysters. I preferred my oysters on the sweeter side instead of salty so he recommended these five kinds. I liked all of them and I think I liked the sweetest ones the most, although I've forgotten the names. I think it was the blonde and minter sweet ones. You can always just ask one of the guys about it.Service: The oyster boys were very friendly and eager to help out. They really try to give you the type of oyster they think you would enjoy based on what you usually like.“
“La Raza Foods is a great commissary. I have worked with them for over a decade and it's been a great experience. Not only is the yard HUGE (over 200+) trucks, but they also have a warehouse on site to do your daily shopping and a propane station as well so you don't have to go anywhere else to fill up.“

“Love it here, the food is amazing! The chefs are so kind. Normally just get asada tacos but recently removed red meat from my diet, so today decided to try their chicken burrito ?? and I had to come give them their stars! Thank you for excellent service and food! ?“
“Good Tacos and good taste. I gave it 4 stars because they have way too much fat and gristle. I've eaten tacos that don't allow that mu h fat and gristle to be added and they go down way more smooth. Also, the meat quality is not the best.“

“To think I've waited over a year to try out this place and it didnt let down. Except for the taco cooker guy. He had a huge attitude when the lady told him he got our order wrong. Plus nowhere to really eat either. Other than that, it was great.Have to thank my lil brother for taking me today. :)“
“awesome ice cream truck, and nicest guy too!“
“Had some of the freshes seafood in the valley. They add some of there own style into the ceviche. Also love that they have clam in their ceviche as not many places do this. Customer service is amazing as well. If you're a tuna lover this place is for you.“
“Stumbled upon this place and absolutely loved it! Food was amazing! I got the fish, Al pastor, chicarrones and carne asada and enjoyed each taco so much. The servers were attentive, music was great and drinks were delicious. Definitely will be coming back!“

“I got 5 queso tacos with 3 being al pastor, and 2 cabeza. Onions and cilantro mandatory on all of them, first up were the al pastor tacos, juicy, sweet and savory, genuinely my favorite protein for a taco. Moving on, I also tried the cabeza tacos which had a hearty beef flavor since it’s from the head of the cow. Overall, the meat was juicy, fresh, and the I 100% can vouch for the food here“

“Bought a variety pack off the world wide web. My usual place kept running out of my preferred brand so I decided to give these a spin. Not bad. These are not huge and they are THIN but they are exactly like the ones you get a REAL Mexican place. I enjoyed these.“
“Street taco spot with large servings for tacos. Mulitas and vampiros are also available. Cash only. Street parking is difficult but a lot of people just double parked until they got their food. Ordered four tacos and that was more than enough food. They give a generous serving of meat and salsa, and it’s fun watching them slice the pineapple from the top. You stand in line and let them know if you want any cheese with your order, and if not, you keep moving along. You pay at the end and they have limes/radishes for self-service. The workers are friendly and the line moves quickly.“
