Churros were a tad over golden brown not too sugary, flan tastes not made from scratch like the instant flan bags but still okay, friend ordered milk shake and said it was fine. However it does seam a bit overpriced due to the amount they charged me I think the churros are about $1.50+ each approx. Place does not have prices on the menu board so you are pretty much estimating prices unless you continuously ask them for prices.“

Great street tacos in the city of East LA/Boyle Heights they have a variety of meats to choose from Carne Asada, Buche, Cabeza, Lengua, Adobada, Chorizo and others. Great portions and salsa/salad buffet green, red, guacamole salsa, cucumbers, pickled onions with habanero and limes. Well seasoned meats bath in lard with the onions as well incorporating all of those flavors into one fusion and great sized burritos with grilled cheese married to the flour tortilla with the soft onions that came out of the disco. I’ll definitely visit Carlos again shoot I’m even going to get him for a party because he caters as well.“

“We had just checked in to a nearby Hilton Express restaurant and had asked the receptionist to recommend us a good local place to eat and without any hesitation he suggested Rico's Tacos. So we walked down the street and saw that there was a bit of a line-up, which is always a good sign. There is some outdoor seating at the side of the restaurant near the parking lot. I went inside and ordered 2 Tacos with Chicken ($3.98) and 2 tacos with BBQ Pork ($3.98) as well as a Chicken Burrito ($7.75). This is real Mexican food without the flashy tomatoes, shredded lettuce, etc that most people are used to from faux Mexican restaurants. It took about 15 minutes for our order to be ready and we took it outside to enjoy it at the tables outside. Wow!! Talk about tasty!! These are some of the best tacos and burritos that I have ever tasted!! Loaded with flavour and a spicy edge, they all come with a bag of pickled veggies and some hot sauce on the side. It was so good that we went back in and ordered more tacos - there is such a great assortment! Definitely a great place to go, especially late at night for some real authentic Mexican food! Most of the staff doesn't speak English but don't let that deter you. We will definitely be going back there if we are in the area - that's for sure!“
