The Langham Hotel and Lobby Lounge was BEAUTIFUL! The staff from moment you drove up, through the meal then out to the Valet was so professional and accommodating. My friends and I enjoyed the service and food at The Lobby Lounge Tea, staff was so attentive to us! Thank You Langham Hotel and Lobby Lounge.

Went on a Sunday night and saw Robert Turner play solo on the piano. The ambience was comfortable and chill. Our group had a beer each and shared the truffle fries- I plan on going back to try other items on the menu!

Great ambience with live music and cozy fireplace sitting. The cocktails are great and the food is yummy. Highly recommend it if you ever and Pasadena.!

The tea room was beautiful and the harpist was gorgeous. The service was alright as they did not check in on us and our tea was not at our table, so we got up ourselves multiple times to refill our cups. The food was descent and they catered to vegans, which was amazing.

Sublime high tea in a gorgeous setting. Servers were attentive and warm, the live piano music was a plus and the food was utterly scrumptious. This is a really special experience and an LA hidden gem.

first seated us up nea the piano-- very noisy and there were empty tables for four down by the windows which was quieter-- less piano -- and also better view and with padded seats and nicer ambiance. Always ask for a table - not a couch - and also ask for a table down by the windows. THey happily moved us after we asked -- but we had to ask. On negative was they let us select three pots of tea -- but then put them on a side table so we had to wait for the lone waitress to pour the tea and by the time they got to the last one-- well it was cold. They then made more pots for us-- but it would be nicer if we could pour our own tea when we wanted and from one of the three. I suspect they are concerned about guests burning themselves. The problem was the lone waitress was stretched very far across too many tables and I had to get up and get the pot of tea and pour it for myself and my friends. They automatically add 20% tip to the check --so be careful as they leave the tip line open and show the tip by percentage which at first led me to almost adding another 20% tip --- But the food is fantastic - best Afternoon tea food in S Calif- the room is great, and the china is beautiful English china -- overall a very nice experience and we will go back but make sure you ask for the window area seating a table with chairs. We were too full to finish the dessert items on the bottom plate of the three tiered plate holder and they boxed them up in these cute pink boxes which the ladies really appreciated. Also they validate for valet parking-- no self parking at the hotel - and this brings the parking fee down to $15 -- plus you should give the valet $5 or $10 tip as well. AS close to having Tea in London that you will ever get without getting on a plane. They need to add an extra server or two to provide more attention if they are going to insist on pouring every cup of additional tea.--

Beautiful restaurant room for high tea. Great view. Outstanding servers! The tea was wonderful. The food items for us were too many sweets and breads. Would have loved more of the tea sandwiches and less desserts which we mostly took home. But it is very pretty. After high tea we walked around the grounds, played some miniature golf in the back and admired all the paintings on the bridge. A must see. It felt like we were on vacation for the day amongst the mansions in Newport, Rhode Island!

Celebrating my birthday with three guests. This was a gift from my son. We had a fabulous time. The service was outstanding, afternoon tea satisfying and overall location and ambiance superb. I especially liked the harpist with her selection of music.

Beautiful place for high-tea, great service and delicious tea. The hotel is beautiful with very pretty gardens however the price was pretty high and when I was leaving I was still hungry so I would recommend to eat before or after this experience.

Our experience was wonderful. The teas were delicious and the seating was perfect . We had a table by the window that gave us a beautiful view..... and Margarita was just the best to all of us!!!

Wonderful time celebrating my daughter's birthday. The live piano music was extra special when he played happy birthday as our server brought out her birthday dessert which was a welcomed surprise!

The atmosphere of the Lobby Lounge can't be beaten; lots of fabrics: upholstered chairs, curtains, heavy carpeting--all of which absorbs noise! End result: a quiet, peaceful place to indulge in a cuppa! It's been my experience that places that serve tea tend to err on the side of too much sweets, not enough savory. The Langham is no exception. A few extra sandwiches would be soooo appreciated. As it is, the sandwiches that do appear are so small, they're really little more than bites than sandwiches.

The atmosphere was lovely, the food delicious and the service was perfect. I really appreciated not feeling rushed and that the service was very attentive, but not at all intrusive! Well done!

The food was average, and not exceptionally memorable. One of the desserts unfortunately couldn't be enjoyed due to poor flavor. Although the ambience was overall quiet and relaxing, what the tables could do with is a bit more cleaning. The menus, chairs, tables and silverware were stained and overall the presentation felt a little lackluster. The servers at first were attentive and accommodating, however, later became very slow at returning to us with our other tea selections and check despite the dining area being pretty empty. Unfortunately, due to these reasons, I feel inclined to not return here for an afternoon tea service which I'm disappointed in because I love this hotel property, its grounds and reputation.
