Can't really comment on the atmosphere but the pizza is amazing! Unusual but amazing pizza choices. You need to try them and see did yourself.

We were so looking forward to trying U Street Pizza…heard and read so much about this place…major let down… pizza did not look appetizing at all, crust chewy almost undercooked. We had the sausage pie and pineapple pig.…disappointing.It was especially disappointing since we love their sister restaurant Union that is right next door. It has excellent Italian food!!

Has really gone downhill. Picked up here for a pre-valentines day date. Picked up within the window (around 20 minutes from ordering) and drive around 10 minutes back to our destination. Pizza was already rock hard and cold and the $16 cauliflower appetizer was extremely bland and unsatisfying. I emailed the restaurant explaining to them our experience since we had been there before and had a great experience. no response. By the look of it, this place is a ghost town and will continue to go downhill until it’s gone.

Order a pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni, however they forgot to add extra pepperoni before they cooking the pizza. They add extra perreroni after the pizza was done..Pepperoni was not completely cooked., so i had to wait and extra 20 min..for a new order..(FYI I always check my take out orders before I leaving the restaurant .)..Then I order more food..When i got home the pizza was cold..not even warm.. I live 2.5 miles from the restaurant..crazy..The 1st time I had Union pizza a little drunk and it was good. 2nd time had a slice and it was ok..3rd time just ok not good cold. I dont recommend it.. not top 10 pizza places..in Pasadena.

The pizza was really quite good though not the best in the area. I would highly recommend it though. It’s a cool little spot as well with a nice beer selection too.

Gotta get this out of the way immediately: DO NOT GET the Soft Serve ice cream as a desert. It's $5.50 for a sad McDonald's soft-serve sized portion without the cone, and the sprinkles which we thought were just part of it actually cost $2 extra for a tablespoon worth. $7.50 total for soft serve made from a grainy mix and off-the-shelf sprinkles is actually insane. Between me and my partner, two ice creams added something like $18.50 to our bill after tax and tip. The pizza is pretty good, fairly priced for the area, but good lord for a dessert literally go to ANYWHERE else in Old Town -- plenty of ice cream joints within *minutes walk* nearby that will give you your money's worth. (Salt & Straw, Wanderlust Creamery, Hello Gelato, 21 Choices,) Or head to mcdonalds after and get a similar cone for just $1 lol. I feel like this restaurant really needs to review the absurd price for this item. There's a photo on here from 2021 that shows a way bigger portion. There's another one from Mar 2023 that shows what you get now. Dunno what happened there.

The service is wonderful, but the food isnt very good. It tastes like trader joes frozen pizza or whole foods hot bar pizza. Nothing wow, just very bland and not special. Also their menu isn’t anything spectacular very boring. Just pizzas and icecream really.
