Gotta get this out of the way immediately: DO NOT GET the Soft Serve ice cream as a desert. It's $5.50 for a sad McDonald's soft-serve sized portion without the cone, and the sprinkles which we thought were just part of it actually cost $2 extra for a tablespoon worth. $7.50 total for soft serve made from a grainy mix and off-the-shelf sprinkles is actually insane. The service is wonderful, but the food isnt very good. It tastes like trader joes frozen pizza or whole foods hot bar pizza. Nothing wow, just very bland and not special. Also their menu isn’t anything spectacular very boring. Just pizzas and icecream really.

We were so looking forward to trying U Street Pizza…heard and read so much about this place…major let down… pizza did not look appetizing at all, crust chewy almost undercooked. We had the sausage pie and pineapple pig.…disappointing.It was especially disappointing since we love their sister restaurant Union that is right next door. It has excellent Italian food!!
