Went here with a group of five we were sat quickly however, from that point on the service slow down. I am assuming that our server was new, just by his demeanor and shyness. He was very attentive, but did have to ask questions several times. We had to get up to find him so we could order our food and also at the end of our meal to get our bill. The food was OK. Not the best sushi I have eaten, but it was good. We would definitely revisit this place again in the future. Always willing to give everyone a second try.

Went there for my birthday and had the boat. It's a great value for the price. The slices of the sashimi were cut nice and thick and very fresh. It melts in your mouth. We also had several rounds of the warm sake. It was very good with our meal. The only thing I would improve is on rice on the rolls. I don't think it had the rice vinegar to enhance to flavor of the sushi. Overall, the service was great. Ralph went out of his way to make sure we had everything. My picky daughter was able to find something on the menu to eat. Also, the fresh wasabi adds that extra kick if you like the fresh wasabi.

I recently dined here on a Monday night and it was a delightful experience. The sushi boat exceeded our expectation for the price and serving size, easily satisfying four adults. Only thing that I would recommend is making a better sushi rice, the flavor needs to be better and balanced. The customer service was outstanding, with the manager adding a personal touch by being friendly and engaging in pleasant conversation. He even brought us a complementary sake for our friend's birthday. The decor inside is very cool from the floors to the wall art. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience!

We love Umi Sushi. It's our go to sushi place in Paso. Great food & service. Prices aren't cheap, but the quality of the sushi makes it worth it. If it's nice out, definitely sit on the patio overlooking the park.
I went in during a slow time. I really don't enjoy eating in crowded places for a number of reasons. It's not cheap. The sashimi was EXCELLENT!!!! Loved the simple and class presentation. Enjoyed looking at the park in the middle of a beautiful, sunny day. So GOOD!!!

Delicious Food! Overall the Ambiance was great. A little noisy with all the other parties talking amongst themselves. The music was at a good volume. Overall Great Ambiance. Great Service, waitress continued to check in on us and we didn't have to waive her over for much. Overall 9/10!

We ordered online, and they completely ignored us for at least 30 minutes, another guy was waiting in there for an hour. When we were finally received the food, it was a tiny amount, and the miso soup tasted like tapwater. Hands-down the worst experience I’ve had at a sushi restaurant. Way too expensive for how much and what it was. Staff was terrible and messing around.

While in town this past weekend, we came in to eat here two nights in a row, both nights, we arrived 35-50 minutes before the restaurant was to close. Both times, we were turned away because they were "going to be closing soon." Funny: both nights, we found other restaurants in the area that were supposed to close at the same time that happily took our business. Apparently, you need to get to Umi at least an hour or two before they close in order to eat there.

Ordered through DoorDash, the chicken teriyaki bowl was.. odd. Apart from the food being cold, there was barely any teriyaki sauce to give it any kind of flavor. Was so bland no amount of sriracha sauce could make up for it.

Never disappointed with the great food and awesome service at Umi Sushi. This was the 3rd time we have eaten here. It was January 1st and the waitress was completely alone handling the tables. She told us the other servers called in sick. Well this lady was amazing. She handled the whole restaurant by herself. And the food was exceptional as usual.

Ordered through DoorDash over a month ago, 95% of the order was completely wrong (this isn't the first time this has happened either) so I reached out to let them know and was told I would receive a full refund for the errors made on their end. I've now reached out to the manager a number of times and called the restaurant and he apparently is just never there and the staff claims to have no idea when he will be there. Pretty disappointing to have such a crappy experience when I've heard nothing but good things. 10/10 don't recommend ordering out because the odds your order is right is very slim.
