Dave and Rosie are the best and very interactive with their guest really makes you like your at home. We are regulars and just love it. They have a cook who has an absolutely amazing menu with changing specials for late night food and the breakfast Rosie makes on Sundays is amazing as well. Once you go there you won't want to leave“

“The minute we stepped into this restaurant, we were greeted by a nice young lady (who my four-year-old child greeted with a nice compliment of her dress). She placed us near the open kitchen and after we ordered, we were surprised with a plate of little munchies including grapes, celery, carrots, cheese, chips, and peanut butter (for free). My daughter devoured this. We ordered a cheese pizza for her and a sausage and caramelized onion pizza and three grilled shrimp tacos. We also shared truffle fries- which we were planning to take home but never quite made it since we ate it all. The food was great- the smokiness of the sauce in the tacos paired with the grilled shrimp and the freshness of the slaw in the tacos made it perfectly balanced. The ambiance felt lively with the open kitchen. I loved watching them place the pizzas in the beehive oven and the pizzas came out perfect. The staff was very attentive and filled our drinks when it was running low. I was very impressed with this place and will be returning with my family again.“

They come bite sized, and you can get four for $29. The leek fritters and steak fries were a great appetizer and especially delicious during happy hour. “A+ service and food. Beef Cheek, Salmon, Scallops, Onion Soup and Creme Brule (huge) were extremely well prepared. Beef fell apart with a fork, wonderful flavor. Potatoes under with the gravy, perfect fit. Scallop dish very rich. Cheesy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Sauce was stupid good. Probably was the highest A+. Onion soup was exactly what it should have been....Classic French Onion Soup. Salmon done very French style. Sauce was over the top good. Creme Brule was huge, biggest I have ever been served (over 100 times). More importantly, excellent flavor and texture (both custard and hard flamed top). Service was attentive, timely and not overbearing. Really awesome experience!!! Will be back very soon!!“

“Neighborhood bars are not necessarily friendly if you are not local. This one is an exception. I have probably been here maybe four times and enjoyed it every time. Considering my expectations, I found the back shelf very well stocked. If you are watching where your money goes, it not going to go further than this place. BTW, to get to the parking lot go around the block by taking the street to the North. The only bad thing about it is that I don't get in to Volpi's enough now, which is another Petaluma bar well worth visiting.“

“We order from here often. Since living in a different city we usually order through doordash. Something changed in the menu where we couldn't add any special instructions. Very challenging because my daughter only likes a few foods and one specifically from this restaurant. After calling and talking to Sandra, she took the time to figure out the glitch through doordash, and now we are able to order this special meal again. “Enjoying the Outdoors at Flagship Taproom Cotati The weather was beautiful on Sunday, so we took advantage of it with an out-of-town trip and headed north. Around late lunchtime, we found ourselves in Cotati. As we pulled over to park in La Plaza de Cotati, I noticed the sign for Flagship Taproom across the parking lot. Remembering its presence from a previous visit before the pandemic, I decided to try it out after our poppy walk. The Cotati location of Flagship Taproom has a nice outdoor seating area with seating for a few dozen people. Inside, they have a long bar, tables, stools, and TVs for sports fans. We opted for the outdoor seating. I checked the beer menu and asked for advice from the friendly young lady behind the bar. Following her recommendation, I chose Vato Loco, a Mexican Lager by Del Cielo Brewing Co. in Martinez, while my significant other opted for a Cherry Cider. To complete the experience, we ordered wings with Buffalo sauce. The outdoor tables were filled with a mix of young couples, their babies, and dogs, creating a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our first round of drinks so much that I ordered another round. This time, I chose Orange You Delicious, an IPA also by Del Cielo, with double the alcohol content of the Vato Loco but equally tasty and flavorful. The wings were also delicious, and the Buffalo sauce had the perfect amount of spice I was looking for. We had a good time and, on the drive home, agreed that Flagship Taproom would be our go-to spot when we next visit Cotati.“
