The chili is a little sweet for my taste, I prefer savory. The place was packed. I don't recommend going with more than a party of 2, or you will have to take it to go.“
“Portillo's is a Chicago icon. It has existed for a century in one form of another. It's fast food, but it's "old style" fast food, which by today's standards would totally be categorized as "gourmet" fast food. Portillo's has several locations across the US, though most are in the US. There are two in California, and one happens to be in Orange Co., more precisely in Buena Park, within the Downtown Buena Park area (i.e. across the Buena Park Mall, right where Walmart is.The building and the interior match the historical restaurant in Chi-town. A very attractive mix of 1940's and 1950's Americana. There's a large dining room and a very spacious outdoor patio.Portillo's iconic dish is the Italian Beef Sandwich. You can have it dry, with some gravy with a lot of gravy or gravy on a side (I strongly recommend the latter: you decide how much you want...) Also, you can have the "hybrid" sandwich with Italian and Polish sandwich. Or you can have the beef in a croissant with cheddar cheese, something that vaguely resembles a Philly Cheesesteak. Of course the fundamental difference is that the ribeye steak on a Philly Cheesesteak is grilled, while Portillo's famous beef (it's still ribeye steak) is actually slow-cooked (4-5 hours, I was told). And that makes the meat a lot more tender than that of any ribeye steak cooked with any other method. Portillo's Italian Beef is extraordinary. Incidentally, it's also available in a bowl, for those who are trying to cut on carbs.Portillo's also serves a variety of other classic dishes: hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, sausages etc. It's all good, but really, in my opinion, the Italian Beef and the sausages steal the show. Fries and onion rings are very good, comparable with what gourmet burger restaurants offer. The difference is that Portillo's has prices more in line with regular fast food chains, but the quality of the food is clearly higher. In other words, great value!A good selection of desserts, shakes and malts are also available. All good, but by far my favorite is the strawberry/lemon shake. Very delicious and quite unconventional. It's basically a strawberry shake with chunks of lemon cake inside. You're going to live it!“

“I heard about Jugos Naturales through word of mouth. I decided to pay the establishment a visit. When I entered the restaurant it reminded me about the mom n pop shops aesthetic found in Mexico. Very vibrant colors and many pictures of the food they sell. The two ladies working the establishment were very kind and did not rush us when we looked over the menu. We diced to order a torta that did not disappint, an esquite with Hot Cheeto crumbs that was something new for me but definitely not a regret, a licuado de platano which was delicious, and a bionico that was extremely generous in serving. “Went there for the first time today with the husband. The place was great had a good atmosphere. The employees where great handled the food properly, quick, friendly. The food was ok, nothing special about it. To me it lacks a bit of seasonings on their fries. We got a double cheeseburger, chili cheese fries with pastrami and pastrami sandwich. The pastrami sandwichs what what I felt was the best. And like I mentioned the service and their organization skills where great! Talk about teamwork. ?“
“Excellent customer service! The food was delicious I got the garlic fries and asada tacos. The kitchen was playing their music low key louder than the restaurant music so that was annoying. My lady friend enjoyed her pastrami fries and Mexican corn in a cup.“

“Lots of reasonably tasty options. The burgers are solid, but the go-to here is the crispy french fries or the very generous chili cheese fries. They do not mess around with the meat and cheese coverage (so you will have plenty to share) and the crispy fries hold up well to the gooey goodness on top.“

I have to say it was good.. I liked it... it was different..it was cheesier than a regular Mozzarella Stick that you get anywhere but I would have preferred for the stick to be filled and not half filled... its like you're only getting Half of what you're paying for.. thats my opinion but it was still flavorful and good. The customer Service was good. Again, I think it looks like a Ice Cream Shop but its a Elotes place Dominated by the Mozzarella Big Stick. The place was Clean, to find Parking on a Sunday its a Mess.I give it 3.7 and a half and if round it off its a 4“
“Rating: 4.2/5 This place is right across from tastea and has somewhat good parking. I have heard of this place but never gone until now. I decided to order the reservoir hog and later ordered the t-mex sausage dog. I heard from the cashier that the reservoir hog was a popular sausage dog that people get. Personally, I did not like that specific sausage. I liked the sausage itself and everything about it EXCEPT the damn mustard they put on top. I should've asked no mustard but I wanted the unedited sausage dog. I think the mustard overpowered the taste of the entire sausage dog, although I did get slivers of the sausage taste which was good and juicy. Wouldn't get it again though. To redeem myself, I got the t-mex sausage dog and shared it among friends and god I should've went with this first. It was spicy and juicy and their slaw just balanced it all out. It wasn't overly spicy but it had enough kick for me to like it. I tasted more of the sausage and it made me enjoy the dog even more. The fries were okay, can be shared between two people and it'll be enough (enough to be content). My friends got the old town and downtown dog and both said were pretty good choices. I didn't get to explore the bar and their beer on tap but they do have happy hour on sundays after 10pm(?) and Mon-Fri happy hour(don't know the time). The lighting is nice because it isn't overly bright but its not so dark where I can't see. Would I go here again for 11 dollar hot dogs? Probably! I do enjoy their sausage dogs so that's definitely a plus in my books since some places don't do that.“

I actually saw this place last week when I came to eat at a sushi restaurant near by and came across this small food truck. I promise my lady we were coming back this week and we are glad we did.The hotdogs are amazing we tried 3 out of the 5 different ones they have. All 3 were so good definitely coming back again soon. We met the owner and they were both super friendly and very attentive they gave us positive vibes. “In my attempt to dine at a different fast food chain, I wound up happening onto this little gem and went out on a limb to try something new, in the name of breakfast. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, with everything on it, minus the pickle, and it was sensational. Like a chilli cheese hot dog, alongside a breakfast sanwhich, between an English muffin. It was gone in 3 bites, I highly recommend you try it for yourself if you happen onto a Tommy's.“

“I love coming here since I live right around the corner, it’s just a quick walk. The food is always great, especially their birria quesatacos! However I was a bit disappointed today with my order. I ordered the “dorados combo” which comes with comes with two birria quesatacos, rice & beans, and a drink. But I didn’t get any queso in my birria tacos. It was just two birria dorados. I’ve ordered this combo many times before and never had any issues so I am a little disappointed cause I know the combo includes the quesatacos. Nonetheless, I will still be coming here, but I guess i’ll just have to remind staff.“
