“This place is so bad it's good. I mean it's not bad. It's just simple. Simple hotdogs served in an honest way. No frills. Old school environment. Interior was never updated. And I'm glad it never was. It's old-school simple hotdogs. The people who serve you are hard-working people. They treat you kindly. It's so bad that it's not only good. It's great. Five stars“

“Place is cool it can be crowded on the weekend but it’s understandable because it’s a college area the people behind the counter get over stimulated sometimes and seem like they’re rushing you. The dogs are are great though the lemonade isn’t sweet and they offer good chilli and condiments“

Parking: It's Berkley. The parking here is tough to find“

“Hands down the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. We drove 20 miles just to get one—and I’d do it again tomorrow. Totally worth it.
Once they’ve got the beers on tap and the patio fully open? Game over. I’ll be posted up with a burger and a pint, no question. Can’t wait.“

“Came here 3 days ago to try the food since I've constantly drove by and wanted to have a taste. I am super disappointed in my experience. The Hot dogs were like rubber and could tell they had been cooked hours before. There was barely any meat in the chili. I also was charged $147 instead of $14.70 by the manager Pat and she refused to refund me. I will never return or recommend anyone to go here.“

“Chars has THE BEST hotdogs in California! Fast, friendly service, made to order burgers, fries and dawgs served up casual style inside of the historic Tannery Building...what's not to love! My favorites include their chili cheese and Chicago dawgs. Do yourself a favor and visit them today!

“Outstanding side of the road taco stand with a food truck outback as well. Atmosphere is a four but the food is definitely attend. Highly recommend this amazing place. Great service with a smile exceptional tacos.

“Definitely my favorite place for Chicago style hotdogs and hamburgers in Solano County. The polish with grilled onions is the best and you can take it into Cullen's Pub next door so you can have it with a beer on-tap. Seating both inside and outside with plenty of free parking on the streets of downtown Benicia. Don't forget the french fries.“
