“Food was good. Me and my friend got two cheeseburgers, onion rings, cheese curds, root beers, a little chocolate cake thingy, and of course, the pickles on the burgers. The pickles were perfectly crunchy, moist, and had a great pickley flavor. 5/5 pickles ?????. The soda did taste a little off though.The service was great and the food came out fast and hot.The tables were clean, but the seats were a bit dirty, and one of the ceiling tiles was messed up.Overall, a solid restaurant with some good pickles. 4/5.
Parking: A relatively average sized parking lot. During busy hours it might be mildly difficult to find parking.

“This is a nice little hot dog place. When I say little, it really is small, and you will end up eating outside on the footpath. But for the price, the taste is awesome, and if you get a chance to chat with the staff, it gets really interesting. Definite berkeley visit.“

“First time having caspers since I was a kid. I live in Texas now but came to Cali to visit family. I ordered the chilli cheese dog but instead of tomatoes I added jalapenos. It was so wonderful!! This business has been around for years as I am now 31. Very much a staple in the Oakland Bay area community. If your ever flying into oak airport stop by this local historical spot for an amazing hot dog“

“Came here 3 days ago to try the food since I've constantly drove by and wanted to have a taste. I am super disappointed in my experience. The Hot dogs were like rubber and could tell they had been cooked hours before. There was barely any meat in the chili. I also was charged $147 instead of $14.70 by the manager Pat and she refused to refund me. I will never return or recommend anyone to go here.“

“I've visited several times and I try to pick something different everytime. However, their fries are amazing!! So much so that I've ordered them my last 3 visits. The chili fries are the best!! The fries are so crispy!! So freaking delicious!!“

“This is one of my favorite bars in Oakland! I love a martini and they of course do great ones here. So many options so there's something for everyone. They have an extensive non martini drink list as well if you're not into martinis, including cocktails, shots, beer, wine, sweet drinks and slushies. They can be quite busy depending on when you go, but luckily the space and bar are pretty large.
They have a completely vegan menu which includes some really fun vegan hot dogs! I'm not vegan, but they were very tasty. We got the elite and the lion dancing. There's also free popcorn in the back!
Speaking of dogs, they are dog friendly which is always a plus for us! I think they allow dogs before 6pm? Or some time around then, so it's more of a casual afternoon drink place then. It's fair because we've been in the evening and it does get crazy busy and loud sometimes which most dogs would not be into.
Service has always been super nice and even in their very busy times they try to keep an order of who hasn't been helped yet. Overall a great place!“

“I highly recommend this place. I was passing by and I looked at the reviews and they were good so I stopped and ordered tacos de tripa, taco de chicharrón, and taco dorado de pollo. Everything was great fresh, hot, great flavor, and great service. My food came out quickly. I'm really picky especially with tacos de tripa. They were so good.“

“One of the best corn dogs I’ve ever had, perfectly crispy on the outside and freshly warm. The rest of the group was just as happy with their orders, which says a lot about the options available.
Prices are on the higher end, but that’s pretty expected given the location on the pier.
Service was alright with nothing particularly to standout, but it got the job done without any issues.

“I've never been there in person but I just want to say I'd like to see the regular cookies and cream (Oreo) mochinut flavor more often, we rarely ever see it anymore and it's the best flavor. Please, make more cookies and cream donuts, pleeeeeeeease.“
