“During the long drive back to Hollywood from Big Bear, my kids said they were hungry. We had passed nothing but rocks and sand for ages so I didn't think we'd have any options but luckily Casa Ortega popped up on the map. The restaurant was nearly empty and just one man seemed to be operating as waiter, bartender, and chef but our food was delivered promptly and everything was delicious. Their air conditioning also works very well which we all appreciated. I'd definitely return if I found myself in the area again. It's a delightful oasis in the desert.
