“great micro brews delicious food, and warm company. if you are rolling past Pismo or spending time in the area, highly recommend spending some time here.“
“I just had to share about this fantastic place I stumbled upon recently – it’s truly a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the incredibly welcoming vibe; it’s got this wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that just makes you want to settle in.
The team working there was absolutely delightful too – so warm and genuinely friendly, they really made the whole experience even better. And let’s talk about their beer menu! They have such an impressive and diverse selection, you’re bound to find something you love.
But seriously, if you go, you absolutely must try their soft pretzels. They’re ridiculously good! And trust me on this: grab a Roadster Red to go with them, especially if it’s a sunny day. That combo is pure perfection – honestly, it was the highlight of my afternoon.“

“When traveling along the coast, I always make it a point to stop at ManRock Brewing Co. Beers are incredible (loved the “Get Him a Hoppy Bag” triple hazy IPA), food is great and comes out fast (try the bacon covered hot dog) and service is always friendly. Was surprised and happy to find they were open July 4th too! Was also able to get some cans of my favorites to bring home.“
“Locals is a perfect name for this local gem!
The owners have created an atmosphere that is open and inviting. You can expect good music (there's always some vinyl spinning), good conversation, and a great selection of beer, wine, cider, seltzer, and even non-alcoholic options. It's a great spot to catch the game.
While there are some pre-packaged snacks available for purchase there is no kitchen so outside food is welcome. Seating includes bar seating, high tops, and covered outdoor seating.
I highly recommend giving this spot a try!“
“First time to the area and I stopped at 3 different Breweries in 3 day. This one was by far my favorite. Very relaxing atmosphere and staff was experienced and informative on their beers. Had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich (on special, not always one the menu). It was fantastic and needs to be a permanent resident on the menu.“

“Great beer and awesome owners !!“
“There Does Not Exist is an absolute labor of love for craft beer fans to enjoy on the Central Coast. I've tried many beers made in SLO county over the years, but since trying TDNE for the 1st time in 2020, they take the cake when it comes to the best varietal beers top to bottom.“
“Though I’m a smoker and smoking is banned in Downtown SLO I’ll still put my 40 year old habit on hold for the libertine we always enjoy the atmosphere and the people along with the beer“

“"LIFE'S TOO SHORT . . . HAVE A BLAST!" Well, I certainly did. I discovered this establishment while on a trip to the San Luis Obispo area (combination of business and pleasure). My lawyer, Barry, and I decided to give it a try for lunch. Great selection of microbrews; always a plus. I had a couple pints of one their own IPAs. Barry just had iced tea. He doesn't drink; says it hinders his judgment on the job. In addition to representing me, he also aids in the evictions of apartment tenants who are several months late with their rent. (I've noticed a lot of them seem to be single mothers with at least three kids, but I digress.) We split the Chili Cheese Waffle Fries for a starter. Loaded with chili with the right balance of spice and heartiness to it. On top of that, it didn't give me any digestive issues! Excellent burgers here. I had the Jalapeno. Half-pounder and Angus, the way it should be. Barry had a Margherita Pizza, which I thought strange coming after chili cheese fries. He said it was a lot better than the one he had at Northern Italiano a few weeks back when meeting with another client of his named Lance. Our server, Amanda, was exceptional. Just the right amount of EYE CONTACT. Regularly CHECKED UP on us, but not to the point of intrusiveness. I emphasize those points because a lot of servers today don't understand that eye contact and checking up on the customer are indispensable components to providing quality service. Barry and I were tempted to take her golfing with us. Regards, Mitchell D. Cumstein“
