This spot is legit. The sisig is the best I've ever had. My girlfriend is Filipina and lived in the Philippines for years. She said the food here is like what she used to eat there. She's never encountered it before outside of family cooking. Truly, this is a remarkable place. Jimmy is a sweet guy and the girls working behind the counter are all great. Very professional, but also very much a family place. Perfect for Sunday lunch or getting a ton of food for your family gatherings....read full review

Capangan - Taste of Pampanga, Philippines is a hidden gem for Filipino food. The Beef Kaldereta was outstanding, and everything was packed with flavor, with generous portions that give you your money’s worth. The food tastes like home, and since Pampanga is the culinary capital in the Philippines, it is definitely worth checking out. The owner offers elite-tier guidance with samples, helping newcomers try dishes like the Pork Sisig and Chicken Adobo in a 2-entree rice combo, which were insanely flavorful with beautifully aggressive portions. The customer service is excellent, very attentive, and the owner is super open and friendly, letting guests sample dishes. Popular items like Palabok have unique flavors that pop. The food was just what was needed, even for those without an appetite, and the sigig tasted great. This local family restaurant offers great hospitality, and customers are definitely planning to head back for more.
