What a homey place! So many restaurants have switched out character for entertainment, like sports on TVs in every corner. This place has not. The menu has all the old favorites: BLT, Chef Salad, homemade dressings, comfort foods, senior menu, homemade desserts, etc. The decor includes retro items from many of our pasts. Delicious, crab Benedict is my favorite. Portions are great and ingredients are hot and fresh.Love the atmosphere , excellent friendly and fast service even when they are busy. Our favorite place to go on the way to Tahoe for a day hike, fuel up here!
We stopped here on our way home from Apple Hill and it did not disappoint. This place is so cute! It is like stepping into your grandmas house. The food was delicious! The had the best pumpkin muffin! We cannot wait to comeback!
