I’ve been coming to Buttercup Pantry since the late ’70s, and it’s still one of those places that just feels like home. What a homey place! So many restaurants have switched out character for entertainment, like sports on TVs in every corner. This place has not. The menu has all the old favorites: BLT, Chef Salad, homemade dressings, comfort foods, senior menu, homemade desserts, etc. The decor includes retro items from many of our pasts. We were well taken care of and well fed,
Delicious, crab Benedict is my favorite. Portions are great and ingredients are hot and fresh.Love the atmosphere , excellent friendly and fast service even when they are busy. Our favorite place to go on the way to Tahoe for a day hike, fuel up here!
