This place is great. Wonderful people, delicious food and closest sushi to Pollock so the convenience is awesome too. The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and even give my children little toys and candy when we come in. My only negative experience here is that my husband is a recovering alcoholic and has told them that he no longer drinks, but every time he comes in they still offer him saki. Every time! How an authentic Japanese sushi restaurant came to be right on the edge of Hwy 50 in Polock Pines California is a mystery. But the food was excellent, plentiful, affordable, and well presented on an outside deck overlooking a misty Sierra valley. I'll be back, you should go too.
We stumbled across this amazing sushi joint after apple hill and this place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The sushi is GREAT, the view is gorgeous, and we witnessed the employees go out of their way multiple times with different guest to celebrate them. I would drive from Reno to this restaurant any day! I will for sure be back ❤️! It feel good to spend your money in a place where people love what they do
