Matsu Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Fantastick sushi. Great service not too crowded on a Friday eve. Try it !

I went to this restaurant because it was recommended by my cousin, but the service was bad!
There were two waitresses but one of them was really rude and she’s the one that was giving us attitude and not being professional.
All we asked for was not to be on a table ride by the door and she didn’t even answer us while she was cleaning the table and her demeanour changed.

What surprised me the most is that they kept going on to other tables and checking on people but they barely came to us or even asked how the food was or if we needed refills! Food was alright. Chicken was chewy and dry. I personally wouldn’t come here again!

I've been visiting this place since 2024 and I really like it but my last experience was disappointing because there was no official server and they didn't give me the miso soup and salad but they gave to everyone else who was there, this made my experience very disappointing.

Had lunch today at Matsu Sushi and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food, price and staff friendliness. I ordered the lunch combination, with Saba Shioyaki and Chicken Karaage. The Saba was flavored just the way I like it, not too salty. And I’ve been to other Japanese restaurants that serves their Saba saltier than I like. The chicken karaage was to die for! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely coming back!

Philadelphia roll and Crazy House; Nigiri combination!

It’s my fav sushi place, food is good, fair price and nice staffing service!! I love and highly recommend it!

Chinese chefs not Japanese. They don’t know the way.

Great sushi spot! Wasn't busy at all when I went and the sushi was fresh. Service was excellent and I like the vibe of the restaurant. It seemed more genuine. I felt like I was in a real Japanese restaurant, they even had the Japanese music playing in the background. I love authentic restaurants. I will be back, thank you.

Been coming here for the last 5years,best sushi place around the area,and prices are affordable, definitely recommend this place,

I’m really disappointed in this venue, the cashier added an additional meal onto the receipt that was not on the original bill. I won’t be back

I'm writing my review based on the atmosphere & not the food. The food is average that one can eat at any Japanese restaurant. The minute i walked in I can smell the stink of the carpet, its old and WORN out, that is gross!! Thank goodness my food was to go because I couldn't tolerat the smell & look of that that disgusting carpet while trying to eat and not lose my appetite!

I popped in here while I waited for my car at Big O across the street. I loved their “Cray Roll.” Super affordable, great sushi, and quick service. Will definitely come back!

Idk why there are so many bad reviews? This place is so cute and tasty. I’ve had a lot of sushi in my life and I think this sushi tastes great! Plus the service was kind and very attentive. Would recommend!
