Pier Place Reviews
Great staff, good food, Have good selection of beers.
You must have had a new cook. My son in law ordered fish & chips. My husband and I ordered fried oysters. The batter wasn't what is usually used on those foods. It was over cooked on the outside but when I bit into my oyster the outer crust was tough and inside the batter was raw. I nearly gagged and the fish & chips were no different. The calamari was in the right batter and was very good.
High price for such lousy food. Even my son didn't like his braised beef over rice.

Food was amazing! Service was great and food came out quick. The calamari dish was to die for! It is a must order. Our kids enjoyed clam chowder and kids fish and chips. We are ecstatic to have this delicious new restaurant in our community and look forward to seeing it thrive.

Pier Place offers amazing food, with the best garlic fries and delicious fish & chips. The BACHAN BBQ OYSTERS and shrimp and fish tacos are a must-try. The restaurant has exceptional service and a welcoming staff. Favorites include Mac Daddy Oysters, Rockfish Ceviche, and fried ice cream. The ambience is amazing, with a priceless view. The new owners are doing a wonderful job, ensuring all guests have a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Guests can enjoy great beer on tap and often experience Friday night live music from 6 to 8 throughout the summer, making it a popular Friday hangout for locals. The restaurant is accessible with a lift for wheelchair-bound guests to access indoor and deck dining. The staff is friendly and personable, with the owner and team going out of their way to recommend local spots and make guests feel special. The menu features perfectly shucked oysters, fresh ceviche, and fish & chips that are fully approved by visitors from abroad. Cocktails, even with sake-based liquors, are top-notch. Many guests appreciate the fast service and enjoy chatting with the staff about the area, often staying longer than planned. The restaurant is also known for vegetarian options and a welcoming atmosphere, making it an all-around favorite for locals and visitors alike. The added veggie quesadillas are a great option, and the clam chowder is probably the best chowder some have had. The Barbecued Oysters are outstanding, and the Grilled Rockfish Sliders and Rockfish Ceviche are heavenly.
