“Stopped in our way home today & it was great! We had quick service and loved the touch of tic tac toe on the table while we waited. I think the guy who helped us with named Taylor - he was great too. The burgers were delicious & cooked well!“

“The feeling and atmosphere were amazing. You want a bar. This is your bar. It will be different from the town vibe, but it's a bar with 2 pool tables and great drinks. I got cocktails that tasted great, and my boyfriend got beers that were off the tab, but overall, the taste of alcoholic drinks they give are great. Price range is normal and they have specials too. The other great thing is that it's dog friendly, I'm not too sure on cats. The owner and the bartenders are really friendly.“

“This is a hidden gem in Placerville. The precious Somm refer me to come here as he mentioned they have good reds here. The wines I tasted was good, but the thing was they have food here. I had the duck confit nachos and the spinach salad. Both dishes were surprisingly delicious for a winery kitchen. Beautiful tasting room but small. Outside patio and view of the lake is amazing. Stacey was personable and knowledgeable. She also invited me back for future events. Definitely a good stop for tasting and eating if visiting Placerville.

“This place is so wonderful. Their food is amazing, especially the baked mussels. I bring kids and their patio is perfect for a family situation. They pepper the kids with little treats and are so kind and patient with families. But they also offer a very serene setting inside. We will support this restaurant forever. Amazing people, fresh and wonderful food.“

They helped us choose what wines were the best and what they pair best with, along with aging times. Fairly priced and the wines are amazing. “PROS: Food was fantastic! We had the chili dog and prime rib sandwich. Onion rings were on point and even my picky eaters couldn't get enough of the potato salad.
CONS: It took 20 minutes to get our order taken after sitting down and another almost hour to get our order. The staff was very nice but if you aren't prepared for an hour and a half plus dining experience this is not the stop to go.
OVERALL: The historical factor with the quality of taste of food makes this a worth while stop on your high country adventure.“

“First visit to Jack Russell Farm Brewery and it definitely won’t be the last. The outdoor seating area is awesome. plenty of space, relaxed vibe, and really nice views that make it easy to hang out for a while. We tried a couple of pale ales and both were solid, easy-drinking, and well made. One of the regulars, Rick, was hanging around and ended up grabbing us a few beers and sharing some great stories, super friendly guy and added to the whole experience.“

“This is one of my favorite places to go in Camino. We love the food, the staff and owners. It’s a very family oriented place with something for everyone. Excellent food, beer and wine selection. I only wish it was open year round for Friday night locals night dinners.“

“Apple Hill is a must especially during the fall season!! My boyfriend and I went today and although it was busy the lines went by quickly and the staff were so kind! We were sad they were sold out of the blueberry and pumpkin donuts but our special favorites are the apple cider & crumble donuts.“
