“NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

Taboni in Tarzana is an absolute gem. The pizza is outstanding — perfectly blistered crust, fresh ingredients, and that balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings that reminds you what real pizza should taste like. You can tell everything is made with care. The corn dish was also incredible — sweet, smoky, and loaded with flavor.

What really made the experience stand out was the service. Naor took great care of us from the moment we walked in. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of the food they’re serving. It’s the kind of place where you feel welcome right away.

“I have searched this town for the perfect wood fire style margherita pizza. I ordered the Napoletana and it is AMAZING. We also got a pepperoni and it's delicious too! Vincenzos is too much crust and too greasy in the middle. Toppers is way too expensive and our order was never accurate. The Road is close by, the food is delicious and they have great prices. “So happy when a Gino's opened up in the LA area! As a Chicago native, I've missed Chicago pizza a ton. Anytime I'm in the valley I swing by Gino's East. Of course, you can get deep dish, but tavern style is standard Chicago pizza in all its cheesy goodness and square-cut slices! Also highly recommend the mozzarella sticks! So crispy and cheesy, especially fresh in person at the restaurant.“

No it doesn’t have alcohol I asked :) the chef was awesome he forgot to put mushrooms so he gave me a free cheesecake and I didn’t even say anything he came over on his own as he remembered half way through my meal. Truly it was great and with mushrooms it would’ve been my new favorite pasta dish. The garlic bread was good too! I will be back glad I found you.“

“This restaurant lives up to its name. The number one place that my kids are talking about over 4 years after moving away from California is Numero Uno! Your pizza literally makes my mouth water all the way on the East Coast....

Thick crust, amazing flavors, I don't even know how to describe the way that the dough is. It is just incredible! The sauce is perfect! I grew up LOVING Hawaiian pizza and you guys just make it RIGHT! They also have these amazing bread balls that soak in hot oil. Wow. They are boasting with flavor!

My son compares all salads to their dinner salads. They use pickled onions and they're just special! We *might* have found one close out here in North Carolina, but I'm not so sure... Their ranch is amazing, too! Their service is really great, If I'm remembering correctly, the owner is Daniel. He is super kind.

“I have been going to Chi-Chi’s my whole life!! This would be since the early 70s! They have some of the best food in town! I absolutely love their salads, rolls and pasta! My favorites are their pesto sauce and their meatless sauce!! Everything is homemade! Their pizza is the best!!

Vegetarian options: They have meat free sauces for anything you ask! They have lots of salads! You can get veggie pizzas too! They have potatoes too.

Dietary restrictions: They have half portions, vegetarians options, fish or seafood options etc. They have gluten-free options also!

Parking: They have several handicap spaces and spaces for take out that they come out to your car to bring your order to you in the evenings!
