I order the chicken and waffles with a side of bacon and egg. Everything was delicious and por portions was plenty. My husband ordered the Mexican omelette with a side of has browns and toast and he too enjoyed his food very well. The ranchero salsa was delicious.The service was quick and very efficient. On top of that everyone was very friendly and helpful.The star of the meal was the cafe de olla! I ordered the dirty horchata latte with whole milk and it was really good! The staff were really friendly as well and were so fast at making drinks as it was pretty busy. I definitely want to come back and try a coffee flight as I think that's such a cool idea and I love coffee. “A great place for a beer. An excellent place for a pizza. They have a long list of terrific house-made beer, and the pizza is super tasty--the ultimate combination! This place has just the right vibe you'd want from a brewery. The difference is that some breweries feel very industrial. But Macleod feels homey and very local. Case in point: parking can be difficult sometimes. The first time I was able to park in the front lot, but I was blocking somebody. I went around the bar and found the guy I'd blocked in, and we agreed to find each other later and switch the cars. All very casual and chill, which made me feel right at home. Throw in a patio with a "scenic" view of a dark side street and some light industrial businesses, and you get the deal. Two more visits later, it's one of my favorite beer places in L.A.“
“Hanks is about a 15-minute walk from where I live. The Sherman Oaks location. You have to get there fairly early because sometimes they run out of bagels because they are very popular. (I am not a morning person and neither is my son. So to us fairly early means before 1 p.m.) But on the weekends we love to walk to Hanks, because they are so good! Sometimes we just get bagels and cream cheese, sometimes we get bagel sandwiches. I'm a vegetarian and my son is not. They have options for everyone. Actually, I'm not sure if they have gluten-free. Anyway, we usually get our bagels to go. They put on tons of cream cheese, so there's enough to share a finger full with my cat. As we were walking down the block , my son holding the bag of bagels, a guy walked past us and said, " Is that from Hanks?" We said yeah, and the guy said, "They are awesome! I'm heading there right now."Seriously good bagels! If you haven't tried them, you really should.“

“First time trying Mr. Bacano/Colombian Fast Food. It is nice to see Santa Clarita Valley has a diversify culture cuisine. I have never been to Columbia. So, I don't know what authentic Columbian cuisine. I ordered Encanto Burger and Sausage fries. The staff said it was authentic food. Both were good and tasty. It was pricey but it was a good amount of food. It was interesting trying this restaurant/cuisine. Please try this restaurant and enjoy the Colombian cuisine.“

“I was in a part of town I rarely visit & played "Yelp roulette". I rust type in "highest rated" in current location & see what looks interesting. I'm glad I found CF Food Kitchen. It's a fairly nondescript restaurant with a simple interior in the corner of a small pod mall. It was "Wellington Wednesday". Other items looked great, but I've never had beef Wellington, so I figured, "Why not???". It comes as a three course meal plus warm, perfectly crusty bread. I picked lobster bisque which was very rich, creamy and lobster-forward even without many (any?) lobster bits. I took the desert to-go. The key lime pie was solid. The Wellington was good, not great. The pastry was kind of doughy & the mushroom duxelles was fairly flavorless. Luckily the beef loin and Demi glacé were excellent. Also the dollop of whipped mash was great with the Demi glacé and a few small veggies. The roasted gold beet was small, but the star of the veggies. The server was amazing: warm, welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. I hope I'm back in the area to try other items. They definitely focus more on the food than the ambiance, though.“

Mind you, I'm no expert on the cuisine, but I've been a fan for a long time and can happily endorse the Étouffée (crawfish), the Jambalaya, the Mac and Cheese, hushpuppies, and the friendly service at Mardi Gras Tuesday. *Though the cornbread didn't necessarily wow me, all and all, it was a great meal for the portions, price and quality. And considering they got slammed as soon as we walked in (around the start of the Super Bowl), the service was quick and we were in and out of there with bellies full of comfort food within an hour. “Welcome to the valley, Teaspoon! This cute little boba shop is hidden in the corner of the busy plaza next to USPS postal office and Amazon grocery. They have an interesting drinks selection outside of the typical flavors. I've tried many different flavors but my favorites are Roasted Oolong Tea (w/ house cream) , Genmiacha Green Tea (w/ house cream), Ladybug (passion fruit), and Guava Sunset. I usually get all the drinks less sweet (50%), but sometimes the sweetness consistency isn't there so 75% may be a safer option. Initially I also really enjoyed their boba but lately the texture has been off so I haven't been ordering it.. Highly recommend to download their phone app and order pick up. You can get points towards future orders and save on time. It does take awhile for them to make the orders. Overall, I really like Teaspoon and I'm here at least once a week!“
