“The prime rib I ordered for Christmas dinner was the best I’ve had from anywhere I’ve ordered in the past. I ordered a 5-rib roast lightly seasoned and bones cut away/ tied. “In San Fernando on business. Decided to have dinner while waiting for traffic to die down a bit. Doing a search Carbon Grill sounded good. When we got there we were the only customers. Nice little place but other reviews suggested something else and parking for some reason was non existent. Had to park two blocks away! Good menu and prices were fair for these times. Food took a bit long even though it was only us. That is a good thing since it means freshly cooked. Ordered a burger, salads and fried Yucca. Good meal overall. Clean place with outdoor patio along with inside tables. Only complaint was too much plastic used for this level of dining.“

“We stopped here on the way home from LA. The food is cooked to order, so very fresh and hot! There is a little wait but worth it. If I am traveling through that area again and hungry for small restaurants cuisine , I’m stopping there! I have had Korean Bbque before but this informal way with plates, tacos and bowls is genius. I ordered the sirloin bibimbap. I customized it with no rice just salad greens, the shredded veggies, protein and sweet egg. Two sauces came with it on the side. It was delicious! I’ll dream about that meal! My husband ordered the chicken Katsu bowl. He also really enjoyed it. He is no on the veggies ( rice and protein, sauce) and I am always trying to keep it low carb. The chef was willing to customized kindly with no rice. There are tofu options. There are options for many food lifestyles. Delicious and robust with freshness and flavor!“

“If I could give more than five stars, I would! This was hands down the best Korean BBQ I’ve ever had. The quality of the food was incredible, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing staff.

Our server, Andrew, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited to share the experience with us. He taught us some of his favorite grilling and eating techniques, along with little tips that made us feel so much more connected to the culture rather than just dining at a restaurant. The rest of the staff was just as warm, welcoming, and helpful, creating such a fun and comfortable atmosphere.

“My daughter is in her K-pop era, so anything Korean is very cool to her right now. I love Korean food, so this seemed like a good fit, and it definitely was!

We came in on a Saturday, and the place has a casual, welcoming vibe. The people behind the register seemed like the owners and were super nice. They asked if it was our first visit, walked us through the menu board, and made some great suggestions.

My son isn’t too adventurous with food, so he got chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were huge and delicious! My wife really enjoyed the BBQ beef bowl, and my daughter loved the Galbi burger served on Hawaiian rolls. I got four Korean fusion tacos, which were also delicious. Everyone was happy with their meal.

The service was great, and they even brought us freshly baked cookies at the end of our meal. That was a really nice touch.

“The food was amazing. Got the crispy shawarma with chicken and I was taken for a ride to flavor city. Idk what wizardry they did in the kitchen but I was hooked at the first bite.

The crispy shawarma with beef was pretty good too. It is cooked with a little lamb fat, so it was slightly gamey. Not really what I like, but if you like lamb then you'll probably really like the beef.

I also got a chicken thigh plate. It's your standard chicken plate that you'd get at Mediterranean places. Char on the chicken tasted great as well as the chicken itself. I'm not usually the biggest fan of hummus but the hummus here tasted better than other places.

Next time I'd probably just get one crispy shawarma chicken. It's pretty filling. Can't wait to come again!“

“This place is pretty good for quick food similar to L&L BBQ. The food came out quick, was fresh and the people working were nice and friendly. There is limited seating and parking. We ordered the Bento. 1 Teriyaki chicken and 1 katsu chicken. Both came with macaroni, 2 fried dumplings rice and some salad. Overall, this place is yummy for the price! Will come back again!“

“My wife and I (I'm Korean, she's Irish American) ordered the real deal galbi (not AYCE) and she was very satisfied. The place was super clean and it was busy but the service was great. I actually thought the best thing I ate for lunch was the shrimp/vegetable tempura. It brought me back to my mom's/grandmom's cooking. I would be excited to go back and try other dishes. It's definitely not as fancy as Park's but definitely a quality, authentic KBBQ restaurant.“

“Classic valley restaurant. I come just infrequently enough to know the food hasn’t changed much if at all over the years. I’ve done to-go a few times and it’s just the same. Sometimes it’s a little warm up front, sometimes it takes a while if it’s busy. But it’s worth it when the food comes.“

“This place is fantastic. You walk in and are immediately greeted and informed how things work. The man inside is very nice and loves talking to everyone that comes in. The food is so good. I got beef and noodles and veggies. Then topped it off with the flavor sauces and garlic. They have a lot of options so you can make it your own. They cook it all right in front of you. I even grabbed a mochi ice cream. Over all I highly recommend this place, a diamond in the rough.

“Update, even better this week being setup at the San Fernando Brewery. Hard to beat great beer and Bbq. Added Mac and Cheese this week, did not disappoint. Brisket was great. Perfect Crust and Smoke. Cole Slaw was cut well, light and tasty. Beans had good smoke and we're tasty, although seemed like from a can. The Pickles are really good, you can just about eat them by themselves as I did on the drive home. This is just about as close to TX BBQ that I've had around these parts and a lot better than the closest Chain. Only thing missing are some Onions, different BBQ sauces (ex. Vinegary, Spicy) and a Gallon of sweet tea. Highly recommend this place. I will be back.“

Let me tell you, I’m real picky when it comes to mac & cheese, and this was killer! The baked beans were awesome too. “I was taken aback a bit by the virtual food hall, but don't let that deter you. The food is great! Well-seasoned and obviously scatch made. With the exception of the cabbage (seasoned well, just too al dente for our liking), the rice & gravy, mac and cheese, collard greens and BBQ beans were delicious!!! The catfish and fried shrimp were amazing. The service was great (the owner returned my call although I hung up and didn't a message - which means they care). “Black bean fish was superb! It came out hot and fresh in the fish was so fluffy and flavorful in the sauce. It was delightful. I grew up ordering house special fried rice, but my husband prefers chicken fried rice. Most times I’m disappointed and longing for my childhood staple but this chicken fried rice was actually flavorful and delicious. The chicken was very fresh and tender. Now, unfortunately, I ordered the roast duck and roast pork plate and left most of it on the table. It may be because it was the end of the day, but it was very lackluster. It tasted stale. The skin was not crispy and we almost asked to have it taken off the bill, but I did eat a lot of the duck so we just know not to order it again. The duck was at least edible. The pork was not. It was just so dry and lacked flavor. The skin looked crispy, but it was not crispy at all. It was leathery.“
