I can genuinely say that the atmosphere and service made the experience 100 times more comfortable and just what we were looking for. On top of that, the music playlist was fire. But most importantly, the pho was a 10/10 and the egg rolls! Price is reasonable for the current economy and even if on a budget like I was, the kids size is perfect just for that. My guy friend and I have gone once for dining in and the second time when my guy friend and I got takeout. I can’t stop raving about the papaya salad! “Finally, another variety of Asian food in Folsom! The restaurant is still having River Thai sign at the front so it was a bit confusing. There are 2 kiosks to order the food or you can go to the cashier to order.

The service is semi self service. They brought our food to the table in brown to-go boxes. However, the portion was generous for the price.

- Hainan chicken rice: the chicken pieces were perfectly cooked and juicy (but a little bit bland for my taste). The rice was fluffy. The soup broth was good and very hearty.
- Crispy chicken with rice: it’s my favorite between the two. The coating was crispy and flavorful while the chicken meat was still juicy. My favorite part was the spicy sauce! It was delicious!!!

“This is really a hidden gem, best dumplings I’ve had in a long time. All dumplings are made by hand and are very delicious. Seeing is believing, and I saw the lady making the dumplings. I ordered wonton soup, which was very tasty. My wife ordered steamed dumplings that was delicious, and I ordered the fried dumplings. My wife also ordered Ube steamed buns 😁. The pickled cucumbers wasn’t spicy, but was flavorful. ( I can’t eat a lot of spicy foods) every once in awhile is ok. I took home my fried dumplings some of my wife’s steamed dumplings and the pickled cucumbers for an add on for our evening meal. From where I was sitting I could see Folsom Dam. Traveling 10 miles for some delicious dumpling was worth the distance.“
