“This place is exactly as you would expect from an Asian late night bar type of restaurant.

The food was surprisingly good in terms of less Korean sweet flavoring in there food. Which is a plus in my book. Will definitely be a turn off for others.

“Friday, 10/25/2024 - Tried "Pho Viet Anh" for dinner for the 1st time. Address is 9529 Folsom Blvd A, Sacramento, CA 95827. They have a nice medium parking lot. We found parking right away. Domino's Pizza is in the front of the building and they are towards the back. Upon arrival....

Pros
1) There was no wait. We seated ourself.
2) the waiter was very nice and patient with us. He let us review the online menu.
3) they didn't provide any hard copy menu. You have to scan the QR code for the menu. It's located on the table.
4) we got the strawberry Lemonade drink ($5.00). It was very tart. A little hard to drink. But we dranked it.
5) We got the large combo pho ($17.00) with the greens on the side. The broth was good. We didn't need to put any of the sauce condiments into the pho broth. We just ate it as is.
6) we got the chicken viet sandwich ($10.20). Sandwich was really good. But watch out. The jalapeño is super spicey. We removed a few jalapeño and the made it less spicey.
7) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste.
8) clean. Our table, chairs, utensils plates, bowls, cups looked clean.
9) they did check on our table to make sure all was good and if we needed anything else.

Cons
1) the menu is small. not much to choose from. But it makes it easier to pick something to eat.

Conclusion
We liked this restaurant. Customer service was great. Food menu is small, but perfect. Made it easier to pick something quickly. Pho was delicious. Chicken viet sandwich was great. Parking was easy. We didn't have any wait time. We'd go here again.“

My guy friend and I have gone once for dining in and the second time when my guy friend and I got takeout. I can’t stop raving about the papaya salad! It’s a must try and I dream about it in my sleep it’s so good with the noodles and so spicy! Lol. I’m in love and drooling... o baby!!! Lol come here and eat, the other dishes are mediocre and the hot pot we tried the first time wa so so due to the broths we weren’t a fan of and the meat and seafood weren’t of good quality and had gone bad when we had gotten to them in the fridge. “The food is great, but the worst part is the plastic waste. Even if the customer asks, they insist that their policy every order must be served in a plastic bag, even if dining in the restaurant. They should provide paper bags for take-out and reusable trays for dine-in orders.“

“Recently ate lunch here and was so pleasantly surprised! Our meals were made to order and you could see the cooking staff making the meals. Had Kung Pow Chicken, Won Ton Soup and a beef dish I forget. What I won’t forget is how delicious it all was. And generous portions! Needed to go boxes. This place is a hidden gem. “Finally, another variety of Asian food in Folsom! The restaurant is still having River Thai sign at the front so it was a bit confusing. There are 2 kiosks to order the food or you can go to the cashier to order.

The service is semi self service. They brought our food to the table in brown to-go boxes. However, the portion was generous for the price.

- Hainan chicken rice: the chicken pieces were perfectly cooked and juicy (but a little bit bland for my taste). The rice was fluffy. The soup broth was good and very hearty.
- Crispy chicken with rice: it’s my favorite between the two. The coating was crispy and flavorful while the chicken meat was still juicy. My favorite part was the spicy sauce! It was delicious!!!
