I come here often, delicious and fast every time. I wanted to post a review to show off their new set up and menu as of July 2026.

Went here twice in one weekend because the bagels were so great!

You could make it a little more polished while still being honest about your experience:

I truly love this place and have always had great experiences here, which is why I was disappointed with my visit today.

After placing my order, I went to the restroom to wash my hands. When I returned, I noticed that two gentlemen who ordered behind me had already received their food, and another customer who came in several minutes after me had also gotten her order. After waiting for quite a while, an employee asked what I was waiting on. When I told him my order, he checked the receipts and realized my order had not even been started.

While I was waiting, I noticed several employees behind the counter joking around, play-fighting, and chatting. I understand that work can be enjoyable, but it felt unprofessional given that customers were waiting and orders were being missed.

I’m especially disappointed because I genuinely enjoy this cafe and usually recommend it to others. I believe this may be an opportunity for management to provide additional training and encourage staff to be more attentive to customer orders and service. I will continue to support this business, but I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience going forward.

I have been going here for the past 12 years and im surprised Ive never given a review before. This bagel place is THEE MOST DELICIOUS PLACE EVERR! Fresh bagels made daily, produce is fresh year round (please try their avocado!!), their service is so friendly and personable. My favorite thing to get is a cali club on a super onion bagel…please try it! They have over 10 different bagel types, so many HOMEMADE cream cheese, homemade bagel dogs tehy warm up for you, homemade chicken bakes, they have a huge variety of drinks and coffee! Sometimes if youre lucky and get the strawberry cream cheese, theres literal pieces of strawberry in them, so delicious. This is a family owned small business and they have been around for forever. Please stop by and support, youll make it your go to bagel spot everytime youre in the area!

This is my favorite spot in Rancho Cordova. Their bagel sandwiches always the hit spot, the staff is friendly and responsive, and the service is always quick even during a rush.

It's got a nice small town feel where you actually tend to interact with the community here. I once left my wallet there. When I returned a few hours later, it was not only turned in to the employees there but also still had all it's cash in it.

A thing I personally love, is that they don't play music. It's just the sounds of the cafe and and cafe goers. It seems like a small thing, but it's nice to not be constantly bombarded with generic shop music all the time. Great place grab a bite and read.

I've been in Rancho forever and I've never been here before?? Get real! This place is amazing. So far, I've only had the spinach and swiss out of the ones I got but I can't wait to try another one. SO GOOD!

I had to take down my 5 star review. Twice in the past few months the turkey avocado sandwich I ordered had bad avocados. Also, the blueberry bagels tasted off.

Had a fantastic, perfect nova lox sandwich on the sesame bagel. The texture and flavor of the bagel was exactly what I want in a bagel and the sandwich ingredients were well proportioned and fresh. From order to receiving my food was less than 2 minutes. The ambiance was charming and cozy. A surprisingly great spot in the corner of the shopping plaza.

I have visited Bagel Cafe a few times to eat brunch and have enjoyed it every time. The bagels are fresh and flavorful, the menu has a variety of classic bagel/roll sandwiches, cofeee is good, the staff are polite and efficient and the prices are great. The café is simple, food is good, service is timely and it is affordable. We will be back for sure!

I got a breakfast bagel sandwich, chicken salad bagel sandwich and a California bagel sandwich. They were excellent! They were fresh, decent size and reasonable price. So far they are the best bagels I have tried. The customer service was very friendly and helpful when asked questions.
