Bagel Cafe is just how you’d expect it to be.
Never having been to New York myself, I’ve always wondered about the experience of strolling into a bodega and asking for Swiss on a roll.
I COULD have done that at Bagel Cafe, but I didn’t! I came very early in the morning—around 8:00am. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel, a coconut croissant, and an iced mocha latte. The iced mocha was just how it should taste, the bagel was a bagel, and the coconut croissant was particularly enjoyable and very sweet and coconut-y.
For 3 items I spent about $15. Very simple Bagel Cafe. 👍

Came here for the first time. We ordered an onion bagel with ham and egg & a California club. It was so hard to understand the lady calling out the orders. I really wish they would have swapped the cashier with the lady calling out the orders or at least just say numbers instead of the whole order.
Ham had a lot of gristle bits, not pleasant to eat. Egg tasted old.
I wish I would have liked this place but it’s a no for me. Place was clean and had a family vibe though.

I had an excellent toasted bagel with avocado a few months ago. Bagel was soft on the inside snd crusty on the outside. So today I tried a California Club sandwich. I don't understsnd how it was worth over $12 even if it had been served on a TOASTED bagel. Someone needs to make sure the makers know when a bagel is toasted for best flavor and texture because a cold, tough bagel chased me away for good today.

Was pissed off. Went to this place a few months ago. Got the supreme sandwich and it was delicious. I went back after a while ordered the exact same thing. They completely messed up my sandwich put cheddar instead of American cheese, didn’t add any pickles. Some employees say that the chips are free with the sandwich but when I went today they weren’t. No Peppers like I asked MADE THE SANDWICH COMPLETLEY WRONG. I went back to at least ask for pickles they only put three pickle on there. Horrible service. If you’re going to come here advocate for yourself and make sure that they don’t get the order wrong. There was also a time where they literally gave me the wrong persons food

Low key local spot for good priced breakfast bagels

Sunday morning, pretty busy, but the staff is efficient -- about 10-15 min wait after order for a single bagel & cream cheese. But.... the poppy seed bagel felt like yesterday's (or few days!), very rubbery and the cream cheese was rather tasteless and runny. Don't really get the high ratings if can't make a decent bagel. Kudos for cute picture near the bathroom.

We've been here a few times, and it's always been okay.. but today will be our last visit. The salmon on the Nova Lox bagel was disgusting. It was warm, mushy and inedible. We took one bite and threw it away. Even the pickle was warm and squishy and went into the garbage. So disappointing!
