“I've now ordered ~6x times from Folsom Pizza and Kabob and feel comfortable enough to finally leave a review. From what I can tell, it's run by this lovely husband+wife duo.

It's not a cheap, but everything I've ordered (pizzas, kabobs, plates) has been delicious and well worth the money spent. I appreciate the blend of traditional (cheese, veggie) and non-traditional (gyro, shwarma) options, and bonus points for halal beef pepperoni.“

“It's been so difficult, post-pandemic, to find good, quality, delicious food places. This place gives me hope. Hands down some of the BEST food I've had at a kabob restaurant. No exaggeration. It's clear they use quality ingredients, and know how to cook. I legit had an emotional moment with my chicken kabob plate lol. The gyros are super yummy too. “I have had a go to Gyro spot nearby and after multiple bad experiences I did a quick search near me and found this place. My wife and I ordered the gyro pita and gyro plate with a side of falafel. The person working at the restaurant was polite, the food was great, and it was affordable. Happy to have this new Gyro spot!

My girlfriend and I wanted to try Mosaeic under new management, and we were pleasantly surprised. They rebranded as a more relaxed, casual dining experienced, and we set our expectations accordingly.

Dynamite Combo: very delicious and filling. Everything had the correct texture and spice level. However, for the price, they’re facing a lot of competition as there are better kebabs in the area for a similar price.

Whole fish: this was the best part of our experience. The fish was juicy and tender on the inside, while skin was crispy. The reason this Middle Eastern restaurant stands out from the rest of the hundreds of Middle Eastern restaurants in the area is that it serves fish, which we could not find at other establishments.

Service: really kind and nice staff. We could tell the cook had a lot of enthusiasm and did everything with a smile. Something I personally love to see.

The staff mostly are Muslim, but I think they might be Afghan, because they knew little English, and didn't respond well to Arabic, French, Persian, or Greek. Dine-in was very limited, but the food was great. It mostly Greek, Arabic, and Mediterranean in substance. Probably hallal, but I didn't see that explicitly stated anywhere.Great food, not up to serving diners on site. We had to ask to get water, and they gave us bottled water. We ordered tea and had to ask for it several times. Still nice people, just very limited English. Moderately recommend. Order ahead, and get the food to go. Don't eat on site.“

I’ve had tzatziki from all over, and this one missed the freshness and flavor I expected. If you’re ordering, you might want to skip the tzatziki unless they change up the recipe—it could use a refresh or maybe a quick quality check. Aside from that, the fries were solid, and I’d give it a 4/5, hoping for an upgrade on that tzatziki next time.“

At this point, they have memorized my many regular orders and will usually know what I want along with any sides of sauces that i get. The owners are amazing and pride themselves on providing great service and great food. The first Pita I tried and still get to this day is the Baja Chicken Pita which will always be one of my favorites. I also really like the BBQ chicken bowl, the Hula Teriyaki bowl, and the Ode to Athens bowl. They're offer a lot of menu items and they even have desserts like cookies, brownies and chocolate covered fruit. Make sure to stop by and check this place out if you are in the area.“

“I have passed by this place many times and decided to take the plunge. It's a combination market and restaurant. The restaurant is in the back so there is no way to see it from the front. After greeting the cashier in the front, I made my way back to the restaurant. It was like visiting a small cafe in Kabul, Afghanistan with booths made for sitting on the floor with big screen tv's and just an overall delightful Afghan decor. I ordered the chicken shawarma from a very friendly staff. I could tell it was a family owned restaurant. The wait was a little longer than I had hoped for but it was worth the wait. The shawarma wrap was delicious and filling with a savory tsiki sauce and fresh vegetables. Loved it!“
