The environment is very, very suspicious in here. They should be open to more normal people. Feels like a hospital.
Love the people and all of kava cultures environment. I throughly enjoy going here and have for awhile now. All employees except a select few seemed annoyed by my questions because security likes to bully me. Makes me concerned to bring up any questions with them. I shouldn’t be concerned with how my kava is made here at this specific location. I wish the owner checked on his staff more.

Lighting at the register is a bit dim, and it's difficult to read the menu.
Root of Happiness lives up to its name. It's a perfect spot to unwind, meet interesting people, and try something out of the ordinary. I’ll definitely be back.
Worst service possible. We come here every time and I had my ID and my boyfriend who has a rewards account only had a picture of it. The light skin girl with curly hair is new and just did not provide the same service and hospitality. He is 27 and I’m flattered you think he’s under 18 but you can easily verify it with a picture of it or just look up his account. You guys don’t scan IDS ANYWAY. There is not really a difference in picture or physical. It’s the fact that you are not consistent in asking for them other wise we would have made it a point to bring his. I had my ID and she still didn’t try to accommodate. It just is annoying after a long day of work and you go to a place you always go to and a new girl just acts so rude. Like she didn’t even try to be nice about like say sorry. Sorry goes a long way. Will not be coming back.

Horrible experience. Wouldn’t allow me to finish my drink because my 25 year old fiancé didn’t have her ID on her, and didn’t refund us when he decided to pour out my drink. Mind you my fiancé wasn’t even having anything to drink. 1 out of 10 experience. Also super expensive

Was my first time trying kava, it tastes horrible! But does give a nice little glow and is reasonably priced.

I sat at the bar and waited but the bartenders only helped people who were standing in line at the register as if i wasnt sitting at the bar waiting. So after seeing them help everyone who was in line and helping people who walked in after me. I just got in the back of the line after 5 people who arrived after me and then was helped. After that they started serving me at the bar. It was surprisingly delicious though. Nice dark chill atmosphere and definitely unique. I'll be back.

The staff is very unprofessional! I was informed by security that I was banned from this establishment for life and upon requesting a reason I was informed that he did not know and that it came directly from Johnny in management. So I requested to speak with management and I was then yelled at and told that management wasn’t on shift and that I needed to leave before the police were called so I went to leave and as I was walking to my vehicle I was harassed by two security guards who were very dirty looking! yelling profanities as I drove away still unaware of the reason for being banned this is discrimination at its finest and should not be tolerated
