“Friday, 10/25/2024 - Tried "Pho Viet Anh" for dinner for the 1st time. Address is 9529 Folsom Blvd A, Sacramento, CA 95827. They have a nice medium parking lot. We found parking right away. Domino's Pizza is in the front of the building and they are towards the back. Upon arrival....

Pros
1) There was no wait. We seated ourself.
2) the waiter was very nice and patient with us. He let us review the online menu.
3) they didn't provide any hard copy menu. You have to scan the QR code for the menu. It's located on the table.
4) we got the strawberry Lemonade drink ($5.00). It was very tart. A little hard to drink. But we dranked it.
5) We got the large combo pho ($17.00) with the greens on the side. The broth was good. We didn't need to put any of the sauce condiments into the pho broth. We just ate it as is.
6) we got the chicken viet sandwich ($10.20). Sandwich was really good. But watch out. The jalapeño is super spicey. We removed a few jalapeño and the made it less spicey.
7) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste.
8) clean. Our table, chairs, utensils plates, bowls, cups looked clean.
9) they did check on our table to make sure all was good and if we needed anything else.

Cons
1) the menu is small. not much to choose from. But it makes it easier to pick something to eat.

Conclusion
We liked this restaurant. Customer service was great. Food menu is small, but perfect. Made it easier to pick something quickly. Pho was delicious. Chicken viet sandwich was great. Parking was easy. We didn't have any wait time. We'd go here again.“

We then had the panang curry chicken (hot) and it certainly lived up to the spice and the hype, very impressed with the flavor. Total with Thai ice tea and rice came to $40 with tax and tip.“

The pay machine on the table grabbed my visa card info when I laid it unexpectedly in front of it. I was surprised as I had a gift card to use. I recommend this restaurant to neighbors who live in the neighborhood and bring people from out of the state when visiting . The atmosphere and cleanliness is impeccable . The receptionist / waitress has got to be the most unfriendliness person I have ever met in my 84 yrs of life . It is impossible to even get a friendly smile let alone words or a “thank You” . It is a big turn off. I have neighbors who will not go there because of her. It is hard to ignore .“

“Broth was excellent and legit. Noodles ok, sides were fresh. Not a strong broth but very flavorful, not cloudy and clear, not too much fat(I prefer fat) had plenty of meat products. “This is just like any other standard Viet restaurant where there is the common Viet menu & same dining experience. However, the food is good: Good portions & sizes & Tastes Good. My 8 yo is super picky with his pho; as in doesn't really like pho so he never orders pho but he actually enjoyed it here! Even though he had his rice plate, which was also good, he asked to eat some of his dad's pho. That says alot! I had the chicken pho which I do prefer at Anh Dao but it's still good here. Hubby said beef pho is not quite Anh Dao good but better than alot of other places. Also broiled pork plate was good like most places. Neither the pork or shrimp skewer were burnt but still had the char taste & shrimp was cooked perfectly as it was not dry. This would definitely be my go to for evening pho since Anh Dao is not open for dinner. Definitely give it a go.

Ps. My sister says when her family of 4 go, they get charged a "Dine In Fee". We had 3 of us and there was no Dine In Fee so just keep a look out so you don't tip extra if you're already charged.“

“My first time at Mr Pickles, they have a wide variety of sandwiches, but I chose to make my own. My sandwich was less than $8 and I could only eat half of it, the person behind the counter very pleasant. And the gentleman that rang me up gave me a free cookie!!“

“I’ve gotten blue sky before and they’re good. They’re not Panda Express, this is a family mom and pop shop. All in all, I’d say nothing to complain about. I’ve ordered shrimp chow mein and chicken chow mein before. Quality is up there. The chicken is tender and not rubbery like some joints. Although, and I hope I’m wrong, when I called in an order and asked them to have the chicken and chow mein separate (they usually mix it together), the lady over the phone said something along the lines of “oh, uh, well, uh, it’s not that we cook them earlier, but we can’t separate the chicken from the noodles because it cooks that way for flavor.” That got me a little suspicious. Come on…. It’s not like food kept warm is bad, but it sounds like she was being conservative when saying that, making me wonder how old the chow mein really is. Anyways, lol, overall good food. Can’t complain, but nothing to rave about either. 3.7ish, call it a 4 star.“

I work at the UPS store and they provided us with TWO catering trays AND two hundred coupons to put in our grab bags for our grand re opening. So kind. Not to mention I used to work at mr pickles and the sandwiches are yummy and they cut all the meat, cheese, and veggies daily.
