“Today was my first time going to this place, there was two orders ahead of my order. Each order is made fresh when the customer comes in, not like other sandwich shop where they make the sandwich as soon as it’s called in. There’s a big difference of a sandwich made fresh and a sandwich that sits for awhile. The employee has a great attitude, the owner came in and he was polite and easy to talk to.
The atmosphere is perfect, the music is just right, the seats and tables are clean and so is the toilet area.“

“oh my god, this place is genuinely the best pho spot i’ve been to. once i start ordering, i start to enter the flow state. the server, christina, recommended the number 5, pho special, number 10, shaking beef rice plate, &’ chicken banh mi &’ add an egg. i decided to get everything she recommended &’ was so happy i did. it only took like 6 - 7 minutes to come out. the food was delicious &’ it had a homemade taste to it. very skibidi, it made me feel like a sigma wolf grubbing on all the food. i have to give a shout out to christina because she was incredible, super sweet &’ attentive. my meal &’ time there was made 10 times better because of her. come support this family restaurant !!!“

“After a long day at work, my coworker and I decided to treat ourselves to pho. I can genuinely say that the atmosphere and service made the experience 100 times more comfortable and just what we were looking for. On top of that, the music playlist was fire. But most importantly, the pho was a 10/10 and the egg rolls! Price is reasonable for the current economy and even if on a budget like I was, the kids size is perfect just for that. I was lucky to beat the crowds and was blown away by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff on my first visit. The customers were just as friendly, enthusiastically sharing their faves and predicting I'd be hooked. And boy, were they right! The love and care that goes into every dish is palpable. My hot pastrami sandwich was a taste sensation, transporting me to the classic delis of the East Coast with every bite. Can't wait to go back!“

I went in for a birthday lunch and everyone there made it awesome. christian at the host stand was nice and got me seated quick, even going out of his way to ask the manager jaime a few questions for me before I sat down. Shauna took care of me the whole time, was super friendly, and checked in frequently despite the slight rush in her seating area. The food came out fast, hot, and tasted great. On my way out, a manager, Jaime, and another server, Cena, were there and they checked in just to make sure everything went well, which was cool and not something every place does. The staff all made my birthday lunch way better than i expected, I appreciated all of them. will be coming back with more people next time!“

That said, I found the spaghetti lacking in flavor and a bit tasteless, though the salad was quite good. “Honestly a hidden gem that we discovered a week ago. Been back already with a bigger group and it was just as good. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in sac at this point. Their duck has amazing flavor and crispy skin, the house noodles tastes fresh with a great texture and the salt baked chicken is great too with the ginger scallion sauce. They have a few really good off menu dishes too that we all enjoyed. The staff is incredibly sweet and attentive and the place is clean and comfortable. We will be back soon with more family and friends.“

“I go here about once every two weeks . I love the food or just for the shake with the boba . I recommend this restaurant to neighbors who live in the neighborhood and bring people from out of the state when visiting . The atmosphere and cleanliness is impeccable . The receptionist / waitress has got to be the most unfriendliness person I have ever met in my 84 yrs of life . It is impossible to even get a friendly smile let alone words or a “thank You” . It is a big turn off. I have neighbors who will not go there because of her. It is hard to ignore .“

“I was thinking the serving and the number of dumplings were not a lot considering it was only $11 but I was wrong! There were actualIy 10 dumplings on it. I was not able to finish it so I had to take it home. It could be good for two persons as long as you’re not that hungry.“

“Blue Sky is one of our favorite Chinese food restaurants and has been ever since we moved into Carmichael in 2016. The owner there is extremely friendly and greeting with a huge smile and I feel hugged when I walk in. It helps to know that we order take out there at least once a month. Our favorites are honey walnut chicken and we ordered the sauce to the side because we have leftovers and we often times like to reheat the chicken. But it's hard to reheat the chicken the next day because the sauce makes the chicken soggy. They're happy to keep the sauce on the side. We also love their Deluxe string bean combo. I like to ask them to add extra green beans which they do. Everything we've ordered there is fantastic. They have the best Chinese mustard in town.“

The food is always good here there are never off days the restaurant has not changed any flavors over the many years it’s the original taste I got when I started eating here 20 years ago .. the vibe is fantastic with the music playing and the full bar in the back and party room sometimes they have a mariachi band playing this place is good for seniors because of the fair prices and middle age people with thier family’s..
