“Who knew you could get ribs at a Mexican food restaurant!! The ribs were meaty, the glaze delicious. Came with a side of veggies which were zucchini veggie mix. So yummy. I wasn't crazy about the mashed potatoes as they had some type of sauce mixed in. I'd still order this item again, I'd just choose a different side. The server was awesome, chips were hot, crispy with off the hook salsa. A few of our friends ordered the chili rellenos which were a generous size. I will definitely be back again soon. We arrived on a Sunday at 3, which is a perfect time as the lunch rush was over and right before dinner. We got a great table and the ambiance was relaxing . We had a excellent dinning experience!!“

“The food was good and reasonably priced. Service was quick as I can for lunch. I did pick up a weird smell as I was near the window. Kinda odd almost as if a dog or someone had peed. Other than that smell popping up a couple times I am giving it 5 stars. Burger and fries were delicious.“

“Found this hole-in-the-wall joint on a walk. The steady stream of locals in and out was the first good sign! The sandwiches are so tasty and worth the wait. They have gluten free options, soft drinks (no beer/wine), and plenty of side options. It’s hard to find an authentic sandwich shop anymore - 10/10 would go back!“

“I'm not a local, but was in town for work. My coworker and I stopped in for lunch, I had the pastrami, and my coworker had the spicy Italian. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the sandwiches were excellent, and the experience was great from start to finish! If I'm back in town for work, I definitely will be back.“

“My son LOVES the pizza here! We order takeout often and it's amazing every single time. I love the shrimp scampi. Literally the best scampi sauce I've ever had! Capers, wine, garlic, butter, cherry tomatoes, parsley! Just perfection! If you like shrimp scampi, this is definitely a must try!“

“As so many dining establishments are outrageously expensive, we were looking for a less expensive restaurant that still has excellent food, which we found to be the case at Sweet Basil. I had the flank steak with the small Caesar salad. Both were excellent. Steak was cooked as requested and the servicing portion was very good. The customer service was also excellent.“

“I wanted to give 5 stars. Service and promptness were great! The problem I had is that about 2 weeks ago, I ordered the San Jacinto. The pastrami was the best I'd eaten since I moved to the area in 2019. However, I ordered it again today and it wasn't the same . The meat was darker and didn't have that same amount of flavor. Did you change where you get your pastrami?. If so, I'll have to try something else. Your friendliness and customer service was great... Sorry for part of this review but I thought you should know.“

“Always on the search for a good wood fired pizza we found it here! Started with cocktails which were good also tried the Boom Boom Shrimp. Delicious! On to the pizzas...that and a glass of wine was PERFECT! Sausage & peppers on one, pepperoni & basil on the other. Crust was amazingly delicious, the sauce and mozzarella were so flavorful. “We stumbled into Karen's Cafe during a recent trip to Palm Desert, and it's a new favorite! All of our breakfast items were amazing, from the biscuits and gravy to pancakes. I have been spoiled and do not want to have pancakes anywhere else ???“

The ambiance when you step into the restaurant is positive in the theming they employ but the tables and chairs are just adequate.The service is helpful, likable and very attentive.The menu has a wide range of burger options and a few non-burger options. They have a large variety of French fry options.We chose the featured Tuscany Burger and sides of onion rings and sweet potato fries. All is well cooked, well plated and delivered quickly.Sadly, the overall flavor of this burger is a miss, which is a disappointment for a featured burger. Their rings and fries were solid hits. I would rate this place higher if I liked my burger more.“

“Food was incredible. Whatever your diet, keto, paleo, carnivore, vegetarian....thus place has it...fresh, wholesome, variety packed.The rotisserie yams....must have.Service not so much. “We really enjoyed dining in and having the pizza. We ordered half buffalo chicken then a bunch of vegetables on the other half. The crust is thin except for the ends. The salad was okay but different from any other house salad. They have a sit down dine in and their counter is for take out only. You can see the pizza being made if you want to peak over the open space. They list a star when one of our family members were stuck in the restroom with no toilet paper…. They had to call us so we could request some.“

“This place gets busy in a matter of minutes. The sunshine prefix is a must. Great selection from each course to choose from. Good is always well prepared. We only had a couple of incidents with food portions reduced from previous visits, but the quality of food has been spot on.“

Full of flavor but very light. Made for a great lunch 3 tacos: 5 stars, carnitas, al pastor, and asada. They gave me plenty of limes, but the meat was tender and flavorful without them Mini chimis: 5 stars, we got carnitas chimis, and they gave us plenty of sour cream and avocado and lime to go with them. Very filling - we ate this as a meal. Marianna was our server and was very friendly and enjoyable to joke with. Would come back!“

“First time from LA visiting this restaurant and we are in love. Revia our server was the friendliest and most professional ever. We got the best drinks( Cadillac margarita and michelada ) was perfectly crafted. Fajitas and carne asada yum yum can’t wait to come back and visit TQLAS. “Popped into Palermo's this afternoon for the first time. I usually go to the Mexican place next door when I'm dining in this area, but decided I'd give pizza in Palm Springs another shot. We've lived here for 2 5 years and never found really good pizza. Palermo's did not disappoint! This has literally got to be the best pizza I've had in the Coachella Valley. The sauce? Made by hand. The owner was making a fresh batch while I ate. Its got a clean, fresh flavor that is not heavy and not overwhelming. The tomato truly tastes fresh and not sour or too sweet. This pizza the the perfect thickness and was cooked to perfection. I read the other review where the individual ordered the pizza delivered by DoorDash and it showed up ruined. I'm not sure, about Doordash, but the owner of this establishment knows his business. I watched him lecture a Doordash driver on taking care of the pizza for 5 minutes. This man cares about his product. I highly recommend this place.“
