Avoid this EPL. I like EPL. No quality checks on chicken. If u go at a bad time, u get horribly overcooked, dried out, hard chicken. After the second time, never again wasting money at this location. Employees are great, and chicken is the problem. Did take out no real recourse after getting home.

They dont open on time, went to get food and they were still closed after the opening time. Called and asked if they were open after waiting for 5 mins and they said yes and I said I'm outside and the door is locked and they Said OK hold on so I waited a few minutes and they still didn't come to the door so I left. Wasted time

Wonderful staff, all trained to be nice, give respect, and do the job right! Been going for years and even know some personally, they try their very hardest, and the also would like for you guys to know that if their was am emergency the staff are ATTENTIVE and remain Calm, unfortunately a few months back they had an employee who was working as a cashier and unfortunately suffered a heart attack, the manager who was in duty that day remained calm, had the store closed, called ambulance and performed CPR, they even made a GoFund to help the employees family, and even made a little decoration of remembrance for the employee, that is how you know these people care for you. (PS. The employee was new and barley starting to work, and the other manager actually gave him a job when he said that no one else in San Pedro would :(

They don't have enough vegan protein options I usually have to pay for the regular burrito and have them just put beans in it which makes it pretty pricey for a bean burrito,For a short time they did have a vegan option but it was awful and I'm sure that's why they discontinued it.Just stick to basic vegan options not something sagging in sauce.You guys should have beyond meat chicken strips and cook them separately so they are truly vegan and they will be a hit.Or make it truly vegan burrito with what you have on the menu already, and then grill it,Here is my recipe and remember after it gets made you put it on your press Grill machine,This makes it wonderful vegan burrito however when you have to pay for a chicken burrito to make it into a vegan it gets expensive but try this it's really delicious healthy and hopefully I'll play a local we'll put it on the menu and price it right so everybody can enjoy it.Vegan Burrito, Adel Style:Pinto Beans, Spanish Rice, pico de gallo, cilantro, Lettuce, guacamole, green avocado salsa, then ask them to grill it on their flat panini grill.Bon appetit,, Buen provecho, Enjoy!.Miss the self-serve salsa bar that was one of the biggest attractions.

Literally my favorite fast food restaurant. The employees are so friendly and get my order correct all the time the only bad thing is no drive thru and parking is a hassle but the food and employees are the best: I have 10 years a customer service experience and I know great service when I see one. They are fast also.

I've been going to El Pollo Loco (this particular one) for years..I simply asked for no beans in my bowl... and there were a ton of beans... I don't think it's that difficult to fulfill a simple request like that. I cannot eat beans so my meal was ruined. And who wants to drive back or call? What will that do? I also did not ask for a drink and eas charged a drink and just given a cup... not very good service, food or experience....Parking: Is always crowded for parking and people driving the wrong way or trucks delivering whatever to other businesses and blocking the way.

Bought a big family meal. Chicken was terrible. Dried out, hard and overcooked. Horrendous quality. May never go back to EPL. Definitely not this one. On top of that got the wrong side. Will be going to the other "el pollo" restaurant for family meals. Willing to pay more for quality.

Good customer service but the food quality was not great. Ordered chicken and salad. The amount of cilantro dressing they put on the salad was a slight drizzle (dine in). You have to pay for more dressing. The dressing tasted very watered down and does not compare to the other pollo locos I've been to. The soda was not good either. I got Dr. Pepper and it tasted like a watered down coke. Would not come here again.
I frequently buy lunch from this establishment. It's always clean. The staff is well groomed and polite. The food is hot and it is prompt. The staff is bilingual and they offer liquid refills with your meal. Not a bad spot to eat.
