The steamed fish was tender and fresh just fantastic my favorite, and the lemon chicken is great the snow peas with beef, the spicy fish, and the beef with broccoli all had great flavor. Everything came out hot and delicious,be open to try different dishes you won't be disappointed and the ladies that serve always answer any question both are wonderful.

We have been dinning here since last year, it's our go to spot for many reasons: the first is the food, its so good my 5 year old won't eat anything but chicken nuggets at every other restaurant we go to. Even the Mexican restaurants but not here he loves the Wor Wonton Soup and the broccoli beef. The second reason we come here is the staff, they are super friendly and accommodating. They are very kind to our kids which makes us feel super comfortable and that is very important to us. We don't want to eat as a family somewhere we don't feel comfortable. My daughter once threw up in the middle of the restaurant after eating black frosting cupcakes at a party before arriving and they cleaned it up and made her okay about it. my husband and I were mortified, they cleaned it up so fast and they were so kind to us about it. The third reason is the price, we always order: vegetable egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, wor wonton soup, chicken fried rice, vegetable lo mein, broccoli beef, and two cokes. the bill is usually under 100 dollars which is hard to find for a family of five that isn't junk food. We absolutely love JW China Wok and will continue choosing them as our family spot. We recently took our good friends and they also loved the food!

We met up with an old resident friend today. He suggested JW China Wok as we both haven't been and heard good things. It was time to devour!!!

The interior was nice and clean with interesting, aquarium decor. The waiter was a bit eager and trying to ask how we know about Korean cuisine. Supposedly, a lot of Koreans frequent there and they added Korean items (such as jjajangmyeon and jjampong) to accommodate.

I will say that the noodle itself wasn't always the correct type. For example, the Singaporean curry rice noodles were not the thin, typical rice noodles (possibly vermicelli?). The traditional jjajangmyeon is served with thick noodles and not thin. BUT the flavors definitely shined. The jjajangmyeon sauce was deeply delectable. The curry flavor of the Singaporean noodles was enriched in laska flavor but also not the typical spice level. The waiter did mention that in the future, it is possible to ask for the lo mien with the jjajangmyeon so will try that next time.

JW China Wok is a great addition to Redlands. We may visit more often to satisfy the jjajangmyeon cravings.

During the dog days of night shift you try to find some hope as what to do when the clouds lift and you return to day shift. A friendly med student told me about the joys of ordering from JW China Wok. Needless to say It was inspiring and motivated me to go when I had the time. Yesterday I had said time.

Ordered the Korean black bean noodle with beef. It was very delicious and did not disappoint. Interestingly I was learning about the history of the dish as it was reportedly birthed around 1900s in South Korea and noted to have a sweeter taste than the shandong zhajiangmian, which uses a saltier black soybean paste.

Pure MAGIC. I'm just passing through and feel GLEEFUL about having lucked out by finding this clean restaurant with impeccable service and truly outstandingly delicious Chinese cuisine. If you love authentic Chinese food, large portions at very reasonable prices,
and you're nearby, do not miss out on this gem of a restaurant.

Overall, their food is good. Their Kung Pao Shrimp isn’t that spicy.

In today’s economy, when restaurants are charging higher prices, the least they can do is make sure the portions and quality actually justify the cost. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here at all.

We ordered three meat trays with three boxes of rice, and the total came out to around $50. For that price, the portions were honestly pretty underwhelming, and the flavor didn’t come close to making up for it. It felt like we paid premium prices for food that didn’t really stand out in taste or value. You can easily get more food and similar flavor for the same price somewhere else.

The “fried rice” was probably the worst part. Calling it fried rice is honestly an insult to actual fried rice. There was no egg, no vegetables, nothing that would normally make fried rice what it is. It was basically just plain white rice with what seemed like a finger-dip amount of soy sauce mixed in.

To put it into perspective, you could go somewhere like Panda Wok in Mentone and get food that’s cheaper and still have fried rice that’s actually made the way fried rice is supposed to be. When a place is charging more, the quality should at least be better — not worse.

Overall this just felt like poor value for the money: small portions, bland food, and “fried rice” that doesn’t even resemble fried rice. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

We ordered the L2, lunch special which was orange chicken & fried rice w/egg flower soup. I didnt even try the soup based on the look of it. The fried rice look & tasted like mushy brown rice it had no carrots, peas, etc. Needless to say my husband & I choked as much as we could tolerate down and left the rest, which was basically 2 full plates. I would have done better going to Panda Express🫤
