“Everything was ok. Not the most authentic German food (schnitzel wasn’t, spaetzle was ok); chicken sandwich was a bit messy. We came in a large group. The QR codes make ordering easy from your phone, but there’s no concept of service since they just bring what you click, and asking for tip upfront is also a bit weird. Nice open space with communal tables, so it’s good for big groups“
“I love coming here on Sunday mornings for brunch and WhatsApp/Skype talks with those friends of mine for whom it is Sunday evening at that time. There is always enough space to sit, even though the place is popular. My favorite dish is Lovely Omelette. I also sometimes eat German omelette but ask to go low on bacon.“
“Two visits about a decade apart; I am a regular! I have nothing bad to say-service is good and prompt, food fresh and hot...had an outstanding draft German Pilsner last weekend. It had been a very long time since I had a draft German beer. Lesson for me? Take a break from the strong CA IPAs once in awhile. :)“
