“I recently visited Vanak restaurant, and it was a pleasant experience. The place is cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a casual meal. The staff was very friendly and quick to take our orders.

My son ordered Joojeh Kabsb, which was juicy and flavorful, served with a side of rice. I ordered Abgoosht, and I loved how fresh and well-seasoned it was. It reminded me my childhood traditional abgoosht places in Tehran.

The prices were reasonable, and the portions were just right. Overall, Vanak is a great spot for a quick and tasty meal. I’ll definitely be back.“

I didn’t really know what to order, but the man at the counter was really helpful and gave great suggestions. Second, the food was incredible! We ordered the family plate (to eat there) which was to feed 4, and we could only eat about half - it could feed 4 growing teenagers. Everything they brought out was delicious. There was a plate of pickled vegetables, a bowl of fantastic hummus with pita, a large plate of garlic fries, a plate full of grilled vegetables, and a large platter full of grilled meats. Everything was flavored to perfection. The beef kabob was cut-with-a-fork tender. I would definitely come back. The only problem is that it is too close to home and I’d be temped to go too often!“

But the food here is straight up. Amazing! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but what introduced me to this place was their burgers which are just incredible. I just got one after so long and I just couldn't help but notice that it looks like the Real life version of the Krabby Patty

Since David's vlogs I always wanted to try jonahs dad's kabob and they are really really good. They served them in a wrap with fries. Very simple menu and Susie was super nice and attentive. Over this place is awesome and the antonyan family are super cool and funny just like in the vlogs. They are loud and funny.

“I only recently went into Cicek's Chicken and couldn't believe how delicious it was. The quality is consistent every time. The moutabal is to die for, and the garlic sauce hits so good with the chicken. Speaking of which, the chicken is juicy and perfect. The filet mignon is so delicious too. Just tried the baklava and WOW, didn't expect it to be as delicious as it was. I was genuinely surprised. So happy to be a semi-regular now, this place rules. Give it a shot.“

“This place is really REALLY good. To give you folks context, it’s a small restaurant off the food court in a Mall. So, you kind of go in thinking you’re going to get “mall food”.

But, no. Not at Kabab Lab (silly name, AMAZING food). Their combo plates come with a lot of rice, salad (with a great dressing), pita, humas, and excellent chicken and beef. Well cooked, juicy, well seasoned… it’s one of those places that “you have a taste for…” once you’ve tried it.

I cannot recommend it highly enough, but i can tell you that I keep coming back. I’d rather endure The Mall and have an excellent, delicious, well prepared meal instead of hitting some of my local places that aren’t nearly as good.

The restaurant is always very clean and well lit. It can get crowded but it’s the Mall so there is a lot of fast turn over. Plus there are another 100 tables in the common area if you aren’t in the restaurant itself.

The staff is always friendly and the cooks clearly know what they are doing.
