“The truth is, the food here is super delicious today I ate a delicious leg soup, a chicken bread, the pupusas, the banana empanadas with cream, we also bought a chicken soup, the tamales and to finish the rolls that have cream in the middle wow I give you a ✨?✨ this restaurant is small but great??“
“Best pupusas in San Fernando valley ! I love their food very tasty and the service is amazing, I can eat their pupusas every single day and will never get tired, plus they treat you as a family I always feel very welcome, the restaurant is always clean. I recommend it 100% .Parking: Always parking available“
“Con Sabor has amazing pupusas! We stopped by here yesterday and were surprised by the large menu, with El Salvadorean and Mexican specialties. The restaurant is super clean inside, and has an "A" rating from the health department. About those pupusas: we ordered pork and queso and shrimp and queso. The pupusas were light, not heavy like some we have had. They were crispy and had a great flavor! Also, they put a gallon size container of curtido at our table; very much appreciated since we love topping our pupusas with this. You will not be disappointed at this restaurant and we can't wait to go back. Muy bien!!“
“My new favorite Salvadorian spot, I come here early morning to grab a coffee with their traditional fresh baked sweet bread. The best!!! Pupusas are delicious here, my fav revueltas and squash-cheese. Service is amazing, the ladies are sweet and smiling every time I walk in. 100% recommend it“
“Best pupusas in SFV for sure, I found it a week ago and they taste fresh made, not too greasy or with lard like in other places. The best SFV pupusas are as if you were ordering them in El Salvador, they have excellent flavor, and you can see that they are not saturated with butter like in other places.Recommended 100%“
“I ordered pupusas to go and I can honestly say they were the best I've ever had here in the San Fernando Valley. I couldn't experience the sitting in service but the staff was very friendly and there was a minor mistake on my order and they were very kind to correct. It might not look sophisticated nor extravagant but it's a nice clean place to eat.“
“The pupusas are delicious and their pan dulce and pasteles de tres leches are perfect. They also have aguas frescas riquisimas. Their empanadas de platano are the best! The customer service is great they are friendly and respectful. Make the order over the phone for large orders“
“Accidentally stumbled upon this spot I was in the area and looked up pupusas nearby and it led me here wow these are absolutely delicious the best pupusas I've ever had. Suport this business the pupusas are super thick and well proportioned and the cheapest around. GO NOW!“
“Got the carne asada burrito and it was delicious! It had a mild tamarind flavor which was different. The lady that helped me was very nice and offered a variety of hot sauces and packed them up for me. Definitely a go to spot if you don't eat meat but are craving the flavor! It also had several tables inside for dining in.“
“I highly recommend this place for its authentic Salvadoran food and excellent service. I've visited this place three times and each time I have left satisfied. If there is one thing that could be improved, it would be to have two separate lines, one for food and one for baked goods. This would help reduce wait times. Also, parking can be a bit tricky and tight, so I recommend parking on the street. Overall, it's a great place that I would definitely visit again.“
“The best place for the best of two worlds. Foods from El Salvador and Mexico. I went here recently and have tried their pupusas, and I can say, they are the best in the valley. The fajitas mixtas were also really good. The meats are cooked to perfection and leave you wanting another plate. I really recommend this place!!“
“Location is small, but has about 3-4 small tables indoor and 2 small ones outside. It's gets pretty busy around lunch time, but food is good and service is quick. The lady in the front is really nice. You can phone order ahead of time.“

“This has to be the best pupusas I've ever had in my Life. It has to be because of the care the mom/cook of the business takes on your order. I got the bean and cheese with loroco pupusa; absolutely delicious. The corn meal masa was perfect texture meaning she mixes it well. The refried beans were also made with lard and tasty and not too salty. Definitely ordering this pupusa again. The daughter let me order a pupusa without cheese (since all the pupusa options come with cheese), and I appreciated that. I got pure shredded beef in the pupusa and the seasoning of the meat was perfect. Definitely paired well with the masa. This is right next to my work so I'm definitely coming back when I'm in the mood for authentic and heartwarming pupusas at this family run small business!!!“
“My favorite thing here is the sopa de res, it's pure comfort food. It comes with 2 tortillas and a small side of rice, I also usually ask for a small side of curtido. I'm not that familiar with Salvadoran food, so I was thinking Mexican tortillas the first time I ordered, but it's the soft, thick, handmade Salvadoran corn tortillas. So yummy. Enough for two people (or one very hungry person like me). It's not cheap (I think around $15) but totally worth it. The pupusas are also tasty. It takes about 15-20 minutes to prep the food, so you might want to call it in ahead of time if you are in a hurry. $1 extra charge if you use a credit card. Employees are masked. They sell gallinas rellenas and tamales de pollo for Thanksgiving and Christmas. When I went last week, the hours on their door were 9am to 7:30pm every day. The people who work there are really nice. I don't know how much English they speak. I show up speaking bad Spanish and they roll with it.“
“Got pupusas, caldo de pata, platanos, pasteles, desayunos, and quesadillas for the whole family and every one loved every dish. We will definitely be back. If you do have a large order, just order ahead of time and have patience with the lovely people that work here.“
“I always order for pick-up but the place is great the service is marvelous and the food is delicious can't go nowhere else for authentic Mexican food best place on earth recommend it highly give it a try you will be back promiseParking: Limited space for parking due to the other shopping center shops“
“OH MY GOODNESS!! This place has easily become an all-time favorite after just two visits!! Hands down, best pupusas I've ever eaten. For anyone who is picky or just has a preference about their pupusas 'region of flavor', these are from El Salvador (which is where you want the from), where the dish originates!MUST TRY:- Any/all Papusas (I got the bean and cheese but added carne and OMG!)- Fried corn tamales- Chicken tamale (cooked, wrapped in grape leaves)- Fried plantainsParking: The restaurant is location in a small multi-shop plaza, so parking all depends on the time of day each shop is busy. Each time I've been there, there was parking right in front of it!“
“The food has a homemade flavor, both Honduran and Mexican and the women who serve are very friendly, the place is small and a little old but they keep it very clean and pleasant...????????Parking: This place is behind the Laurel Canyon Target, has plenty of parking.“
“It's a decent place. I like several things off their menu, their pupusas are good, their Canoas and empanadas are very good. I always take my food to go since I live close and the place is very small with only like 4 tables. They always have music playing but since it's small the place it's always empty and most people that go also get their food to go. It's good if you want Salvadoran food to go“
“This place is definitely a hole in the wall. It’s nothing fancy. But for those who know, it seriously looks just like grandmas kitchen and has that at home feeling to it. The service is desperately terrible but none of any of that matters because the food is ridiculously amazing! If you enjoy Salvadoran cuisine, you can catch someone’s grandma in the kitchen making pupusas and they taste insanely authentic and possibly the best I have ever had hands down. I can wolf down 4 “Revueltas” or “Queso con Loroco” with cheese oozing out of the sides and burnt crispy in a bliss of goodness. The sauce and cabbage that goes on top is incredible. This place is as home made Salvadoran as you might ever get without traveling to the suburbs of San Salvador and sitting at someone’s grandmas kitchen table. This is a must stop for anyone craving a good pupusa!“
“Mexican pizza never disappoints, also tried the Birria Pupusa it was soo good the birria was juicy and tender great flavor and really big too. Been coming to this place for about 15 years and I will continue.Parking: It's in a plaza and shares parking with other businesses, it's kind of hard to get parking in the day but at night there's always parking as most businesses are closed.“
“(Translated by Google) Hey Salvadoran countrymen and Mexican Guatemalan brothers, etc. This is a recommended place to have a couple of friends, it has its own jukebox for music, delicious pupusas and in the afternoons when it's raw, a sopon removes raw meat or a good plate of roast beef(Original)Hey paisanos salvadoreños y hermanos guatemaltecos mexicanos etc recomendable el lugar para tomarse un parcito entre cuates tiene su propia rocola para la music ricas pupusas y por las tardes de cruda un sopon quita crudas o un buen plato de carne asada“
“Took a gamble on this place and it DEFINITELY worked out! The food at this place is awesome. The pupusas and revueltas took me straight back to childhood. The taquitos were great- crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Highly recommend this place. I ordered takeout because of Covid but can't wait to visit in person.“
“Pupusas are thick and tasty. I recommend Chicharron. However all others are good too. Make sure to bring cash only. Wait is a little long but worth it. To save time I place my order over the phone. No Parking at all, but you may wait at gas “
“wow great delicious. I tried the pan con pollo and it's 10. So delicious bread with chicken with it's bottom salad like coleslaw very creamy, tomato little bit of cucumber, bread and chicken was so delicious with its side of hot broth. I asked for a side of green hot sauce so deliciously spicy. perfect portion next time I'm going to come in and sit and enjoy it with a cold brew.“
“I went in 20 minutes before closing when you’d expect the worst service but actually I received the best service! After my terrible experience with Mi Casita on Vanowen and Kester, I came here as my last resort. My pupusas were filled with flavor and not dry at all, the sauce was great and the curtido could of been better it takes more refrigerated. They also sell charamuscas here and their horchata is the best. The ladies were extremely nice and I got my order in less than 15 minutes. I’m definitely coming back here!“
“By far a great surprise at how good this place was! The hole in the wall places are always the best. I ordered the Dry Birria Jackftuit burrito, Pupusas with cheese, spinach and jackfruit with a Jamaica to drink. The burrito was super tasty!!! The only thing wrong was the burrito was falling apart because there was so much in there. No matter, I'm excited to try them again!“
“I came here for the first time and it was delicious. They do take a little long to bring out the food because everything is made fresh which I love. If you are on a 30 min break better order ahead because you will not make it out in time. We came with lots of time so we weren't in a rush but when we got out food we inhaled it because it was so good. The coffee is delicious too. I'll definitely be coming back to try their other dishes. Very good quality Central American food. The staff was really nice too which I appreciate. Thank you!“
“The restaurant/bar, the only problem are the drinkers and their women companions that doesn’t remember decency, we when with my daughter and we change tables. I don’t want my family to look. And the administration can’t do nothing about it.“
“The Pupusas here are soooo THICK & full of cheese, beans or chicharrón. Delicious!Service was a little slow but after receiving my order I could tell they take pride in their food. They had a DJ playing getting ready for the night club I think it turns into.“
“It was our first time visiting this restaurant ?and we really loved it...we found everything very authentic. On this occasion we tasted some delicious bean pupusas with cheese and also cheese with loroco...and of course accompanied by a refreshing colashampan...highly recommended I would return again ???“
“We made this day a family event in this place and chef Ligia, since I contacted her, was very friendly, very cordial and willing to help with what I needed. I am very grateful, all my family who arrived were satisfied with the food, the service and the atmosphere of the place. Super recommended if you want to eat something freshly made, good flavor, good price and quality.“
“This is definitely the best place if you want to eat pupusas. After trying pupusas everywhere, I completely agree that El Papaturro makes the best pupusas in the San Fernando Valley. I also like that they give you a reasonable quantity of curtido and salsa. My favorite pupusas are the revueltas de arroz. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys pupusas. They are delicious! P.S. The pupusas are on sale on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.“
“I would like to let know the Guatemalean community that I spent hours looking for the 13 Cereales flour; and guess what?La Tapachulteca in North Hills has it! This flour is expensive and I would like to have found the boxes of 16 ounces at least for the price I pay for it.“
“This place is absolutely delicious. The service was great we got seated right away and our waiter who seemed like the owner as well did an amazing job giving us the best customer service. The food is some of the best Salvadorian food I've had in a restaurant, definitely tastes more homemade which I love. I definitely recommend this spot and I hope to be back soon!“
