“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Melody’s Place – A Quirky Gem in Lytle Creek
We stopped at Melody’s Place on a whim while passing through Lytle Creek, and it ended up being one of the sweetest surprises of our trip. This quirky little restaurant and bar, attached to the Scotland Store, has such a fun local vibe — it’s clearly a beloved gathering spot for the community.
Our bartender, Rae, was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel instantly welcome and mixed a great margarita. The gentleman from the store even gifted me a postcard, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The walls are packed with historic photos that give the place character, and the small gift shop adds to the charm. Melody’s Place is the kind of spot that makes you want to linger, chat with the locals, and soak up a bit of real Lytle Creek history.

“went there tonight, I guess they were getting ready to close. the guy still seated us and served us prime rib dinner and salmon dinner. it was so good, and super friendly service. the cook was great, I had to have her brought out so I could thank her personally. got some great cakes to take home, and those were so tasty. I will definitely be going back to try more of there menu.“
“I highly recommend Woodys Roadhouse our server Jim was great. The food was fantastic we had the Southwestern Egg Rolls for our appetizer. I ordered the Creamy Peppercorn steak my husband had the BbQ Rib tips for dessert we shared the Coffee Cake and everything we had tasted fantastic, hot and came out quickly. It was our first time eating at Woodys but we have decided that we will be coming more often to try the rest of the food on the menu.“

“The food is very authentic, down right to the drinks (banana flavored soda being one of them). The food is prepared right on the spot so not a place I'd recommend for a half hour lunch but definitely one I'd see myself coming again if I have a craving. The baleadas are top notch and so are the enchiladas (different from Mexican)“

“Extensive menu with lots of choices and appropriate prices. The food was very flavorful. Our waitress was very friendly and quick to bring our food on drinks. Their ice-cream for dessert had many unique flavors like lucuma, chirimoya and maracuya 😋“

“Me and my Dad has came a couple of times here and we have gotten Jessica a couple of time she is always on point always coming back and checking on us as well as seeing if we need anything else and always happy and smiling. Thank you for your service Jessica 😊😊“
