“Love this spot. Was in Oakland for work and wanted fresh, healthy, quick breakfast. It was so good, it became my go-to spot. Their avocado toasts, açaí bowls, and coffee are delicious. Staff is incredibly friendly and chill. Service was fast!“

“Tender Greens | Berkeley has become a go-to place for occasional food delivery & dining in house in the mid-afternoon. The food is tasty, fresh, & plentiful—consistent—& always tastes good. Chefs develop interesting & tasty seasonal menus. I have explored a number of plates & bowls, especially savor the greens & seasonings that go alongside the entrees. Have enjoyed chicken, salmon, beef, & vegetarian options as well as all the sides. Sandwiches & salads are delish. As is the mint lemonade & watermelon fresca. The place can be hopping or not, & the service is top notch & personable, professional. They do robust to-go orders & have spacious outdoor garden seating. Sure wish I’d discovered it sooner!“

“I’ve been coming here for 7+ years and the food has always been high quality, delicious, and well portioned. Can’t go wrong with their salads and recently I’ve learned the paninis are fantastic as well. I will say it’s good to order online and pickup, and leave a little time buffer as they can get pretty busy over the lunch rush. The staff can get really busy but they’ve always been helpful and courteous.“

“Love that they don’t add sugar to their bowls. They also use fresh spinach for the green bowl (my favorite). You can see the bits inside it in the picture attached and I have watched them make it. They have always gotten my order correct, when I ask for all the sugary topping to be removed, like granola and honey and the nice man who works there always checks if I still want the coconut flakes added. Their app isn’t that great and the rewards system doesn’t make sense to me but I always stop by whenever I’m in the Marina for a refreshing spinach coconut probiotic green bowl, which is a bit pricey at $14 but I like the quality.“
