The minute I walked in the lobby, I knew I was at a Marriott, my home away from home hotel. It smelled the scent of sampaguita, the national flower of the Philippines. I had to do a last minute booking because our flight got moved to the following day and we needed a big space to pack all our stuff for a long haul flight back home. Found Courtyard in Richmond through my Marriot Bonvoy App and was able to book a newly renovated room with 2 Queen beds for me and my wife. The room was clean, very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was of a high standard and well stocked. Wifi available and hotel is convenient to shops. Two negatives are, 1 breakfast is not included in the price and 2 they gave us a complimentary drink at the bar for out anniversary which was very kind, but was later charged to our credit card.
