“WHAT A HIDDEN GEM THIS PLACE IS!! I just stumbled upon the best dinner I've ever been to. The bloody Mary's are taller than my dog; Loaded with all the fixin's. They have mimosa flights which is more rare than it should be. The eggs Benedict and country potato's were choice and the service was great!“
“The city of Ridgecrest has a "gem" of a restaurant and owners who believe that quality is its own reward. It is family ran by people that you just might want to sit a spell and talk with. In business for some years now. Roaming Dog Kitchen has been serving the greater Ridgecrest community with treats in the form of "hot dogs." More than 20 different selections. And there are specials as well. If you are an aficionado of German style dogs, then this is truly your place. They even have "Curry Wurst" and Sauerkraut. All beef and very large, along with other varieties. Folks, here is the fun part. It is a mobile restaurant (food truck), so you should visit their website to acertain their current location.“

“The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived. We ended up right next to a larger, talkative, gesturing party. Too bad I was so close to them I could easily touch them! The restaurant seemed short staffed to me and it took a while for us to order and our food to arrive. But, the food was good and we did enjoy ourselves. ?“
“China Lake is the site of the weird and wonderful and strange weapons tests and developments. It is not known for its food. This golf course Cafe is an exception to the rule. The food is as good as any as you'd find on a top tier golf course, and for the engineer needing a break from his analysis it's a culinary oasis.“
“Our first and last day here as sadly they are closing. You can tell lots of folks will be impacted from the close as you can tell locals came to this local spot here to have some food, a beer, and watch a game or two. It was nice that my wife could be part of a place like this before they closed their doors.“
“Hungry and felt like I was in the middle of nowhere (Ridgecrest is pretty small town) ... Yelped the best place to grab a bite to eat and found Kristy's Family diner. Our party of seven was seated fairly quickly and greeted pretty promptly with servers bringing water. Variety of food options, but I was craving a burger. So I ordered an Avocado Burger which came with French fries. Portion size was good for the price and taste pretty decent. I don't recall my waitress's name, but she was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was packed at the time we arrived. Moderately sized free parking lot. Bathrooms are small, could use some work, but at least the toilet flushes and there was toilet paper. If/whenever driving through Ridgecrest and want to stop for a quick bite, Kristy's Family diner is my bookmark.“
