There's no sushi where we live (KRV) so this is a must stop whenever we get to Ridgecrest.
Clean establishment, delicious sushi, friendly staff, good prices. We didn't order from the kitchen so can't speak on that.

Chen's Sushi and Kitchen is a clean establishment in Ridgecrest. The sushi is fresh and flavorful, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Good prices and a calm, cozy atmosphere feel like a favorite spot for family and birthday celebration. The Crown Roll, Black Pepper Shrimp, Steak & Shrimp with Rice Pilaf, Calamari Tempura, ribeye, seafood Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen, and stir fried veggies are all on the menu. The steak is well cooked and seasoned, the shrimp has great taste, and the rice pilaf lacks vegetables. Black pepper sauce can be added to anything. Service checked on guests regularly, refilled drinks before ask, and cleaned plates as they were empty. The air conditioner was WORKING and kept the place cool. The owner gave a gift certificate for a next visit and accommodated a dairy allergy. Food was amazing, the atmosphere is calm and clean, and the experience is great. Chen's Sushi and Kitchen is a go‑to dinner spot in Ridgecrest.
