“This place is so good! I would order an egg and cheese bagel & a donut nearly every morning before going to class. The people are very nice and they'd often add in an extra donut with my order just to be nice! I wish I could get breakfast here everyday but I was spending so much I had to start buying my own bagels to save money 😄

But yes this place is very good! I've tried several other donut shops throughout this city and I kept returning here because they aren't even close to how good this place is!“

“I highly recommend for breakfast. Wowzie the #6 sandwich for $9 is very large and filling. It's got very large bun and very generous egg. Drink is separate.

At first, the back prep came out (with no gloves on) handing me the food to go. I opened to inspect it. The sandwich was cut in half. But one half had half of the top bread missing (I've never seen this before).

I showed it to the man. He wanted to take it back to fix it, but I said no thank you. I only need the bread (I did not trust because no gloves on). There was a language barrier, but a lady in line helped to explain to them.

He brought out a whole new bun. I was very pleased. I used this whole bun for the rest of the food since the inside of the bun already had a lot of food in it.

The atmosphere was very friendly, and sociable. I believe this is because the lady at the register is also very friendly. I like her beautiful smile. It signals it's going to be a good day.

Recently it was packed. Then everyone left and it was peaceful.

To the store manager, here are areas that could improve customer experience:

The bathroom was super dirty (like it hasn't been *deep cleaned* in a really long time). The atm is out of order.

Randomly, when you are handling personal businesses by phone, or talking to one another in person, in another language, it sounds like you're angry or very upset with one another.

It can make customers feel maybe you're upset at them, or want them to go away, even if it's something else. Or feel unsafe like there is some kind of danger going to happen.

Maybe you can add options like Avocado and Cream Cheese. Definitely, I really recommend you add calm, relaxing music, especially, please add English 60's-70's love songs.

“The sandwiches and the the ham and cheese croissants are bomb asf. Service was great, the lady working there had great energy and was happy to serve her customers! She also recommended me the strawberry banana smoothie and it was so good! not too sweet with fresh strawberries and bananas. “This place is my favorite ? shop. Donuts are always fresh throughout the day. I am not kidding you come right before it closes and they still be fresh. I love their blueberry donut and also their chocolate cream donut. The cream filling inside doesn’t taste synthetic or store bought. Tastes like homemade vanilla custard cream and that’s hard to find. You can actually taste the ingredients because they’re not oily. They’re perfectly softly baked like they should be. “Rarely do I select 5 stars but what can I say...this place takes the cake. I have been here about a dozen times and each time I haven't been disappointed. Food is fresh, service is great. They sell lotto and have a TV playing the local news. My favorite donut is the chocolate and vanilla glaze together!“

“We stopped by for a coffee and found this to be a delightful shop. The donuts were so attractive and tempting, we got one, too.

The 2 ladies were both very helpful and friendly. Most of all, there were very accommodating.

I asked for a mocha, it’s not in the menu, but she made one for me anyway. It was a little sweet for me (really tasted great but I was worried about my sugar intake, ha ha, in a donut shop!?!), she poured out some hot cocoas and added more coffee.

I asked for a cream filled donut, she didn’t have one but made one for me right away.

“This was a quick visit and a quick order for me. My niece wanted a Korean style corn dog and we did not want to drive all the way to Tyler Mall-Riverside. I immediately went on Google and this spot popped up so away we went.

There are other businesses in this area, and it was a bit difficult to turn in due to someone hogging the driveway a bit. I won’t make this an issue as it’s not the fault of the business, just people not being considerate of those who also want to drive in.

Upon entering Mochi Lion, it’s small, wasn’t busy and very quiet. Because of this, we were able to place our order right away and before we knew it we were on our way out. My niece got what she wanted and had no complaints- even stating it tasted like the ones she gets at home which made me happy to know for future requests.

Because this was a trip for my niece, she said she would go back when she comes to visit us. Of course I have to drive her, she’s not driving age. 😂“
