The service is 10/10, with friendly, attentive staff who make customers feel welcome. The establishment is very clean. The aguas frescas are to die for, and the asada taco is flavorful and fresh. One guest highly recommends Jose’s Molcajete, describing it as outstanding with perfectly cooked meats and rich, flavorful salsa. However, one experience was not positive. A guest ordered the shrimp ceviche, which was not edible because the shrimp tasted rancid. It was sent back. The customer service was great, and the server was apologetic. A pupusa was ordered instead, but it tasted mushy and undercooked and lacked flavor, with soggy, old-tasting curtido. That guest was not impressed overall. Despite this, many guests return every weekend, especially under the new ownership, which has taken things to the next level. The food is always fresh and hot, and service is top-notch.
