Sam's Mediterranean Deli & Catering Caterers • $
613 Martin Ave #111, Rohnert Park

“Sam is your guy to get the job done right. I was charged with getting lunch for a working group of 55 people and had to wait until the morning of the event to provide Sam with the final 30 or so orders. I had reached out to him well in advance, and gave him the initial half of the order several days before the day of the lunch. He was patient, kind, and made sure he had all the necessary details to get the order done right. When the working group finally gathered in person the morning of the lunch, I got an additional 30 orders to send to Sam. Not only did he finish the entire order less than 2 hours later, but he ended up individualizing everyone's order and made special effort for the Vegan and Vegetarian requests. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Sam will make your big order a breeze for you, and work hard to get the order completed on time and in an orderly fashion. He's the best in the biz! - Jonathan E.“

“I like the creativity of this restaurant, specifically how they use fries as the base for their bowls and creating a unique meal out of it. I’ve been here a few time before, and I always stick with the bowl I got since day one. Southwestern bowl is great for poutine lovers who like a bit of a spicy kick. Great place to kick back with friends and eat.“

“I've only done takeout from here. The pad Thai is great, the pumpkin curry, too (sometimes made with kabocha!). The BBQ pork over rice with carrots & broccoli is yummy. I have yet to order ahead - I show up and see what strikes my fancy and order that. It's a bit of a wait because it's not served from a steam table, but finished to order. Friendly staff. Phone pay works, & emailed receipts.Vegetarian options: Dishes can be made with tofu.Dietary restrictions: The carbs are rice, so the gluten free crowd can eat here.“

“The minute we stepped into this restaurant, we were greeted by a nice young lady (who my four-year-old child greeted with a nice compliment of her dress). She placed us near the open kitchen and after we ordered, we were surprised with a plate of little munchies including grapes, celery, carrots, cheese, chips, and peanut butter (for free). My daughter devoured this. We ordered a cheese pizza for her and a sausage and caramelized onion pizza and three grilled shrimp tacos. We also shared truffle fries- which we were planning to take home but never quite made it since we ate it all. The food was great- the smokiness of the sauce in the tacos paired with the grilled shrimp and the freshness of the slaw in the tacos made it perfectly balanced. The ambiance felt lively with the open kitchen. I loved watching them place the pizzas in the beehive oven and the pizzas came out perfect. The staff was very attentive and filled our drinks when it was running low. I was very impressed with this place and will be returning with my family again.“

“I’ve eaten here many times. The first time I had the Bacon Jam BLT. It is beyond delicious! It is so good that I have ordered it every time since, even though the rest of their menu looks good as well. The two sisters are absolutely wonderful hosts/waitresses and are very charming. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Stopped in for lunch to a restaurant I had visited before, as my regular was so busy and had no parking available. I truly had a great Dungeness crab salad! Awesome dressing on lettuce that did not overpower the whole. Cucumber crisp, tomatoes were good, sliced boiled egg, plenty of a perfectly beautiful avocado sliced on top, sliced asparagus was a yum and a great portion of sweet tasty Dungeness crab. I now want to return to try other things on the menu. Only I just didn't get a water refill , but they were busy so that was overlooked.“

“I was in town for the artisan cheese festival and needed somewhere to eat breakfast. The babka French toast was by far a highlight of my trip. It’s been two days and I’m still thinking about it. The babka is made in house and comes with an amazing orange zest and ginger butter. Syrup isn’t even necessary. The chicken apple sausage was just as delicious. It had the right about of spice and when mixed with the French toast, it made for the perfect bite. I will 100% be thinking about this for the next year“

“I hate to give a local restaurant a bad review but the last two times I was at Blue Ridge once for lunch and once for dinner I was extremely disappointed. For starters the music was incredibly loud and heavy metal which did not go with a relaxing eating experience. When I politely asked if they could turn the music down since I couldn't hear myself think I got an eye roll. That made me want to leave right then and there. The second time was the exactly the same with loud music and an eye roll from a different waiter. The service was not particularly gracious and the food was good though extremely expensive. I understand that the chef has now taken over as the owner and things definitely feel different than they used to. The music seems more for people in the kitchen rather than the people eating. For a meal that's easily $50 plus the service does not live up to the food.“
