“I went into this Krispy Kreme for the first time in a long time. I was eagerly greeted and helped by Logan. He did such a wonderful job helping me as I picked out the doughnuts I wanted as well as carefully explaining to me what the ingredients were in each doughnut. Daniel did a great job providing a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Krispy Kream really can't afford to lose these two hard working employees. I will gladly be returning to this Krispy Kreme.“

“Atmosphere is simple but the touches of the owners cultural heritage help it feel cozy and cute 🥰. Overall quality is fantastic, but I this place makes my favorite apple fritters.

I am usually an old fashioned or cake donut lover, so I usually don’t go for the fritters especially because past experiences I’ve where they are dry or don’t have much apple.

The apple fritter here is top notch. Perfectly fried, apple and icing ratio is balanced and complimentary. Because the dough is evenly fried, it has that melty texture to it.

“Nice Hidden Spot with Room for Improvement

Donut Bagel Café is a nice little hidden gem — not overly busy, but there was just enough of a crowd for a short wait, which was actually kind of nice because it showed the place has a steady flow of customers.

The spot itself is cozy, and the prices are fair, especially for what you’d expect from a bagel and donut shop. A great stop if you’re nearby.

That said, the experience felt a little rushed. The girl at the counter was pretty persistent about taking our order, and we didn’t really get the time we needed to fully explore the menu. It felt like she wanted to move us along quickly, and in the end, we settled for something we didn’t really want, just to keep the line moving.

Overall, the place has potential — good atmosphere and decent pricing — but a little more patience at the counter would make a big difference. I’d give it another try, but next time I’ll know what I want before walking in.

“Seriously AMAAAZZING!! We got a dozen donuts so fluffy, the icing oh.my.gosh and two apple fritters that I refuse the share!! The lady was so sweet and threw in some donut holes that were super delicious. I highly recommend Fresh Donuts!!“
